It's illegal to have sex toys in Alabama

I can't think of a better example of how backward and fascistic this state is.
The law is unenforcible and silly because a sex toy could be made out of anything. In fact, humans are born sex toys--potentially.
Alabama has a law on the books that makes it illegal to be a human.
Yet, they are passing laws to protect the rights of embryos...in other words...goop that gets flushed down the toilet every time a women has a period.
Of course, after these unwanted babies are born, they can suffer, starve, and remain ignorant because none of the state legislature rednecks want to fund foodstamps, welfare, or education.
But that's ok. It's illegal to spice up your sex life here.

If Alabama was only run by the large metro areas this religious fascism would end.
The problem is that the nearly uninhabited parts of the state wield a lot of power to thump bibles.

Dumb law is dumb. They are easy to hide though.
People will call you out on that.
Personally, I don't like abortion, but I'm not for banning it.

You're free to live where you want.
But I'd imagine you're the type of "guy" who can't get a job anywhere.

They are not sex toys. They are adult novelties.
BTW - keep your kids out of Spencer's Gifts in the malls. Unbelievable some of the shite they have out for young kids to see.

FYI. Not a single sex toy shop shut down as a result of this law due to all the exceptions and, no one has EVER been prosecuted under it.

So, the law was passed in 1998. That's 16 years ago. How many people have been arrested for violating the law since then?
Posted on 5/24/14 at 11:15 am to samson'sseed
How many people have been cited for these illegal sex toys?
Virtually every state has some silly unenforceable sex law

the metro areas of Alabama are mostly dominated by atheists and mega churches.
If you can't tell the difference between them and the fundamentalists in the backwoods I don't know what to tell you.

shite. Another reason I ain't going to Bakersfield. You know they passed that law because of Buck Owens' children, right?
