When is the pathetic RINO team going on the attack? Bunch of cowards getting pushed all over the place. Where are all the "tough" guys? McConnell, Graham, Jordan, Scalise .....

Dishonest?
Politicians?
Trump said all Mexicans are rapists, right?
Ugh.
This is all pointless.

I just sent a message request to a contemporary, retired from NSA, who was assigned to the Whitehouse under Reagan, Bush Sr., and briefly under Clinton.
I'm going to get his non-political take on it. He's sort of liberal about some things, sort of conservative in some areas. He doesn't like Trump, but he's a straight arrow, by the books type who says a prayer before every meal and doesn't seem to have any vices other than an occasional beer. There are many things he can't tell me due to his clearances, but I am very curious to get his take on the current state of affairs, as he has direct knowledge of how communications are handled and monitored in the Whitehouse between the president and world leaders.

It really is an exercise in futility. The Dems have dug in to their foxholes and don't care about the shells exploding all around them, as long as they can drag out the war another day.
The government no longer serves the people (on both sides). One serves the politicians themselves and their interests while the other has to stay on defense in order to simply function.
It's not sustainable.

It has been my contention ever since first reading the so called report, that the so called "whistleblower" report appears to have been written and re-edited by a substantial committee or staff. It is most likely not the work of a single individual as it is infinitely detailed and legally referenced far beyond the typical work product of any one individual. Especially so given the time frame wherein it was supposedly developed.
WHO WAS ON THE COMMITTEE??
Are they ALL going to testify about their collusion to Congress or will they wait to testify at their trials for sedition / treason?
"‘Whistleblower’ Agrees to Testify Before Congress"
ALL OF THEM??

The law that was changed only made it a matter of urgency. The WB or anyone who wanted to be a WB could still file a report. They (IG) just didnt assign it as a priority since it was second hand. If it would have been first hand the IG would have had to had an initial investigation started within 14 days.

Worse, it is becoming clear they will stop at nothing. Assassination will be the ignition of no holes barred both sides.
If President Pence is smart he will declare Marshal Law immediately.

These guys are playing the long game and the short game. Read the complaint, they had been piecing this together for a while .

if it somehow is proven that there is no actual WB, and the whole thing was coordinated without someone initiating it, then I agree that would be a major problem.
How is it not already proven? The "whistleblower" claims were 100% hearsay. Not first hand knowledge. This is FACT.

If the WB is a CIA person then that doesn’t mean we automatically discredit as a spy.
Um, listening in on the President of the United States' phone calls to foreign dignitaries and then leaking them to the press and the Democrats IS SPYING.

Otherwise any President could just have CIA assigned to the call detail so he could discredit them as a spy.
What the whistleblower did was spy. Actually, it was repeating information that was gathered via the act of spying.

But I have heard that there are negotiations that the WB will testify.
I guarantee you this will never happen.

Was Pence on the call? Bc he is basically deep state so...

quote:Edited to change the requirement of first hand information???. If that's what you're talking about, it wasn't edited. The IC whistleblower statute does not require first hand information on a complaint. It never has.
It was even mentioned that the first blower report had “first hand info”
If true, why was it edited by legal counsel?

False.

Why don't you find a real "urgent concern" complaint form that says the complainant has to have 1st hand information.
Here's a hint to save you some time. The pages of the form itself are numbered (for example) "page 2" at the bottom. and the pages of the instructions are numbered "page ii" (ii indicating instructions) at the TOP OF THE PAGE.

Does anyone else find it interesting that of all the “key subjects” in the phone call that were leaked in media beforehand and/or documented in this “whistleblower complaint,” (ie Guiliani, Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, prosecutor, etc) - that CROWDSTRIKE was NOT one of them?!?!
It’s almost as if they intentionally avoided spotlighting that issue, thinking or assuming that it would never be revealed...?!

Why should I do the effort when you're wrong?
We're following what the forms actually say here, not the media.

bullshite. There are holes in the system and you have a group of corrupt democrat politicians who hate the president more than they love the country. And an even worse media carrying their water for them.
Hate to say it but the future of America is murky at this point. If war broke out between say the USA and China tomorrow many of if not most dems would support the Chinese rather than suffer a victory with Trump as president. It's bad.

First hand second hand, WB no WB, I don't really care. We have the freaking transcript!!! Don't need the WB/not WB. They are nolonger needed one way or the other because we have the freaking transcript!
Posted on 10/2/19 at 5:17 am to texridder
Here is the version of the complaint before it was edited to allow second hand info:
And here is the revised version:
Your assertion that there has “never” been a requirement for first hand information is absolutely false.
