I stayed up till 2:30 so I could hear Trump’s speech. Had decided that 4 hours of sleep should be plenty and make today very doable. The 6 year old gets in the bed with us about 3:30 because of a bad dream. By 4 she’s puking. Been up ever since

When Trump first won in 2016 I had one of my students email me saying he didn't know how to continue with his life / career goals in light of the election results. Although I worded it a bit more nicely than this I basically responded "just live your life, wtf does the president have to do with it?"

I'll be up for 36 hours straight by the time I finally get to sleep around 6pm tonight. First conference call at 8am eastern, several more throughout the day, and I'll be at every damn one of them. After 4.5 years of being under assault by the media, dems and their foot soldiers I'm excited and relieved at the same time.
I'm very much looking forward to the company-wide email from my company's HR department later today after the bullshite they sent last week about fellow employees feeling stress about the election. Of course it coincided with the swing state polls all turning red around the same time.
