It is unbelievable what is going on in Italy right now. 200 more deaths than yesterday.

Something is really weird about this relative to Italy.

Most of the population is above 60 and chain smoke. Not much mystery why they're having issues.

The lockdown curve flattening should start to kick in soon hopefully
Deaths are a lagging indicator. I think the average time it takes to die is 18 days

You'd think if Italy is now losing 600+ a day, India would be losing 6,000+ a day. That would be worse than a genocide. But not a peep.

The curve has nothing to do with anything. The vast majority will dead if they have to go to the hospital, if they are put on a vent 95%+ death.
The hospital isn't going freaking help! The curve is only being delayed, as the restrictions will have to be removed.

If only they had universal healthcare this would all be avoided

So there is this 4chan post from January saying that Italy was going to be SOL and a virtual testing ground for a virus from China to see how it behaved....from January. The post is copied in the Q thread somewhere.

Incorrect. It's more like 30%. Still high but hardly "most".

If this is true they have a lot more to be worried about. How many cases began 18 days ago? Probably not 624

This is the same data I've been posting for the US, but for Italy. This is to show you what's happening there.
