Fog of war shite. I don't pay attention to any of it. Because it's impossible to know what is true. Just like with the Ukraine/Russia war.
All we know is Hamas invaded and butchered many people. I still think Israel and us knew about that attack in advance and deliberately ignored it. If so.. I can't say I blame Israel, because they are surrounded by enemies. Every time they try to clear the enemies out, us and the other first world countries wag our fingers at them and talk them down. By allowing Hamas to do Hamas things, they've justification to tell us and everyone else to go frick ourselves, as they clear out some of their enemies.

Reminder: Hamas uses places like hospitals and schools to store weapons.
If a hospital was hit by a small missle, but had a huge cache of weapons there, it could turn into a massive explosion.
That didn't happen due to all the reasons already pointed out here, but just a reminder about the shite Hamas does.

Not that I don't believe Israel would lie about such a thing, but I have watched Palestine refuse to negotiate my entire life. Israel will arrest Jews for praying on the temple mount while Palestinians are shrieking death to Israel. Not one other country would have tolerated this level of subversion for this long.
Besides, if there's one group of politicians I hate the most, it's the ones supporting Palestine. But batten down the tin foil hats, boys.

at least they have a fresh water source. If I were Israel I'd drop a couple of dead Hamas fighter's carcasses in it to ruin it.
ETA to OP: yes, some of the Hamas rockets can cause the damage in your original picture. The Chinese designed, likely Iran supplied, M-302's have just over a 300 lb. warhead and can do that. The homemade rockets can not however. For reiterative purposes: that photo you posted was one the NYT ran while reporting on the hospital strike... very misleading because while the text was talking about the hospital that picture was posted, but they never outright claimed it was the hospital; they led the reader to believe it was. It is not. That could be either a Hamas, Hisbollah, Syrian, or Israeli strike anywhere... but it is not the hospital.
