Dunno, I found this. Part of the text messages. Doesn’t prove anything Russia related but he sounds like a piece of shite reading this

So 285000 texts were obtained when one of Manafort's daughters phone was hacked?
The texts have been out there for years?
If there was anything relevant or newsworthy I am pretty sure we would have heard about it before now.

Manafort apparently says his daughter's phone was hacked, and that is the source. Question obviously is "by whom, and for what purpose?"
Very serious stuff, regardless of content.

They've been out on the dark web since last year. Franklin Foer reported this in the Atlantic in March:

Idk if legit.. so I'll withhold my opinion on the actual texts. It sounds like someone went after his daughter to try to get to him. It's a pretty vile strategy. A strategy that the mafia, cartels, yakuza, fbi rely on.
