We are just minions in this country. Folks in DC get to play by a different set of rules. It is fricking disgusting.

Enjoy the show. Let me know when enough people are pissed off enough to do something about it.

And yet there are people on this site who claim you waste a vote if you vote for anyone other than a Republican or Democrat. Conflict between the parties is an illusion meant to fool people. The more we engage in tribalism, the less removed we are from the fact that both sides view us as ants.

Are you upset about the hearing? Those things are mostly useless and nothing new.

Very true. But if you vote for an R your chances are generally better that you get a Trump. Voting D gets you Madam President or similar more often than not.

And how does casting votes for a candidate, who in anyone's wettest of dreams has absolutely no chance of winning the election, result in anything other than being viewed as less than an ant?

As long as your voting power, and whatever miniscule influence you have as a non donor class private citizen is spent supporting candidates that have a less than zero percent chance of winning, you are doing nothing but feeding and enhancing the uniparty strength. They both can conveniently ignore your existence, and if forced to acknowledge it, simply marginalize you as fringe lunatics.

Can you imagine a Libertarian candidate trying to get anything done against not just 1 but 2 party's?

I'm not even sure Trump could have pulled that off. Otherwise it would have taken 8 years to get your supporters in Congress.

It is possible on this land to have a country that is true to the values of the American Republic founded here in 1776, but that country will not be the United States of America.

It’s not just DC. Did you see the thread on Ascension Parish President Kenny Matassa walking on bribery charges despite being caught on tape?

What are the Dems afraid of? The FBI and Strzok are not the Democratic party. If Strzok is found guilty of bias or some criminal act, how is that a reflection on the Dem party. Why are they fighting so hard to come to his defense? Pure Obstruction, they don't care about the truth.

Okay, so can you enlighten me? How did we have voting power on 11 April 1861, but none on 12 April 1861? Obviously, it's the start of the Civil War, the beginning of the federal government overtly shitting on the Constitution, taking power from the states. But how did that effectively end voting power? The EC didn't change, and we just experienced an amazing exercise of voting power in 2016.

I believe you answered your own questions...

Please explain to me what has changed through this "amazing exercise of voting power in 2016"? Coming up on 2 years, who has been held accountable for anything?

I can't help you if you could possibly think for one second that our current situation would be the same with President Hillary Clinton.

Dems are worried their protectors of the global state are being taken out. It’s a rigged system, it just is. The best thing any of us pions could hope for is Trump, and we got it. We now have a fighting chance, as well as our kids. The elite can SMELL me at Walmart, and I’ll just smile right back at them; at least, for the next 6 years....
