So....if Trump's endorsed candidates lose: that is a crushing blow and the end of Trump.

If Trump's endorsed candidates win primaries: that's also the end of Trump.

Sounds like a great deal for Trump.

This is the kind of nuance a pathetic number of posters here can’t understand. It’s not an either or question when you’re told the 45 and under demo is waffling.

They’re waffling because as you said, affordability is an issue among others and the boomers are too busy taking a victory lap with the dual citizens in Congress to notice

You have no idea if there will be problems with that voting base once the Republican and Democrat candidates are in place for 2028.

Tell us right now, today, who is the leader of the Democratic Party? Who is driving the party, the face of the party, who's forming a solid policy to attract voters in this nation?

AKA, The wet behind the ears crowd. This group has never seen, even remotely, hard times.

They didn't live through the crash of the automotive industry, the crash of the steel industry, the bottom falling out of the oil industry. Granted these things affected different parts of the country when they happened. But they caused double digit unemployment each time. Our country has seen incredible prosperity since the mid nineties.

Since the mid-nineties the government has flooded the market with cash to push the pain down the road. Once in the 2008 Clinton-Dodd-Frank caused crash and next in the chinavirus plandemic.

If the youngs don't see the dim-commie crap for what it is and turn their back on MAGA they will regret it for the rest of their lives.

Yet, somehow he went 37-0 in last the few days in primary endorsements.

Yea, Trump is really losing his fastball.

The obvious counterpoint is that the primaries are mostly limited to republicans, whereas in the general elections he has to compete for all voters.

Stuff's not hard, pops.
quote:

Data from the BIG DATA POLL Tracking Project indicates how primary voters split by age bracket in the highly contested race between incumbent Thomas Massie and challenger Ed Gallrein:

Gen Z (Ages 18–29): Heavily favored Massie (81.5%) over Gallrein (18.5%).

Millennials (Ages 30–44): Strongly favored Massie (68.6%) over Gallrein (31.4%).

Gen X (Ages 45–61): Lean Massie (53.0%) over Gallrein (47.0%).

Boomers / Silent Generation (Ages 62+): Heavily favored Gallrein (62.0%) over Massie (38.0%).
quote:

Turnout and Demographic Trends

The Age Skew: Total voter turnout in the 4th District primary skewed heavily toward older demographics (voters over 45). This surge among older blocks ultimately propelled the Trump-backed Ed Gallrein to victory.

District Composition: Overall demographic data for the region provided by Akashic Edge shows a median age of 42.3 years. Young adults aged 18–29 make up roughly 12.4% of the population, while seniors aged 65 and older represent about 19.5%.

shite you're right. The young voter demographic was key to Massie's overwhelming victory over Gallrein and the boomers.
