If this report is true, the most upsetting part of it to me is that Israeli intelligence not only has infiltrated the most confidential levels of the Pentagon but the Israelis believe they have a right to divulge those secrets to the press.

Correct. And they don't feel as if there will be any consequences at all.
The only plausible positive scenario here is that this is a coordinated effort between the U.S. and Israel to deceive people.

It’s not that’s why Venezuela was a success. Just like there’s no reason for approval from Congress because they’re the leakers. It’s almost like you guys don’t pay attention.

It's a little late. But even if we did, what happens if the bombing campaign does kill the Atatollah and a few other mullahs? Do we in the West have any legit partners in this game. 80 million people in revolt without a real leader of the opposition is no good for anyone including the Israelis.
