I'm hoping this means Trump is getting close to a peace deal and that Israel and the MIC are just mad.
Iran doesn't want Saudis to get nukes but we could give it to them if Iran doesn't play ball. The US doesn't want Iran to continue to fund proxies. It's possible we ask them to stop selling Russia drones, but that may also be part of negotiations with Putin. It's all connected.
Short of all out war, Iran will get nukes and even then they still probably do.
Trump tried the friendly approach with NK and it didn't work, but NK has a much more isolated and obedient population.
