re: All student visas were just 'halted' by the Trump Administration.

Republicans sure are suckers. You have no idea what you're normalizing and how this will be weaponized against you in the future.
Amazing how students hate whites and Christians constantly for the past 15 years and it's fine but they become anti-Israel and suddenly we're strong against them and will vet each student's social media to make sure they're pro-Israel? What?
No way this turns into a way to keep conservative and red pilled students out in the future. No way.

I suspect if you polled Christian males in Texas about THC the majority of them would be for it being legal.
A more likely reason is that the prohibition special interests are more powerful.
1) The LEOs, Sheriffs departments, and prisons generally prefer it being illegal. It's an industry. They'll say it's for public safety.
2) Pharma companies are against legalization because it can cut into their sales.
3) Drug cartels obviously are against it being legal. Not sure they have any lobbyists, though.

I'm legitimately curious if these judges are able to do this because the departments are carrying out functions EXPLICITLY laid out and funded by congress.
If not then it honestly seems like judges are the actual executive branch.

He failed at getting a majority of congress to be actual small government conservatives. That's quite a high bar to set. Has ANYONE been successful?

Can confirm. Was listening to NPR this morning because Brian Haldane was verbally sucking off one of his guests, and NPR was going on about how the right spreads lies about white genocide in SA, and did an expose on how Grok was programmed to lie about it but they fixed it. They implied that Elon personally was messing with it.
I was thinking how odd it was that they were taking a semantics angle and how they'd never do that to those saying there was a black genocide.

Maybe I’d head up through Alaska
How would you get travel to Alaska without raising suspicion? How would you cross the border into Canada? Where do you get money? winter clothes? How exactly do you cross the Bering Straits without getting caught? How do you travel from there without being caught and thrown back into prison? Eastern Russia is not exactly welcoming to western tourists.
How would you get a fake ID?

I wonder how this will affect the amount of income claimed by tipped employees?
Will state taxes still provide the same amount of deterrent? State revenue might actually increase slightly.

MANY middleclass hardworking Americans aren't buying steaks right now because they are trying to stay afloat without maxing out credit cards, and you want to sit here as same that Im "small and petty" because I don't want welfare recipients to get free fricking steak?
I truly don't mean offense, but you sound poor and/or insecure. Running up credit cards and yet not being able to afford steak is the epitome of lower class.

And you want to grandstand about fricking steak? Seriously?
I would love it if every kid in America had proper steak every week and didn't drink soda. We'd all be much better off down the road. Unfortunately, the problem isn't too much steak. It's too much trash food.

The electronic payment system should be standardized and opened so that the barrier to entry isn't so monumental. This would allow more competition instead of the 5 of them agreeing to a fee structure and telling everyone else to kick rocks.
Debit card fees are almost nothing though so there's still that.

Not to be rude but it sounds like your working on a term paper. Or you just read a book or just arrived on planet Earth.
I am trying to understand the juxtaposition between A) China is our biggest adversary and is openly hostile towards the American way of life and B) We continue to buy crap from China, take their students, educate our students, employ them in critical areas, allow them to buy influence over American institutions and corporations, and to own property in our nation. There's CCP spyware in many homes and businesses across America and it's basically shrugged off.
The two realities are at odds with each other.

Okay, first of all you're falling into a class warfare trap.
Secondly, this is about health and removing the toxic crap from the diets of kids by simply not funding it.
Lastly, if you can't afford steak, you're not middle class. You're lower class.
Is it well understood that China is our biggest adversary?
Posted by LawyerBillboards on 5/20/25 at 3:22 pm
The scale at which China is able to disrupt our supply chain, our global influence, and our technological advantages is unmatched by any other country.
They're the biggest security threat of our digital future. By a long shot.
Combine this with some serious ideological differences in regards to their take on capitalism, freedom, human rights, privacy, intellectual property, etc I don't see how any other country even compares.
Iran and NK are ideologically oppositional to us, but only have regional influence, and neither have been able to insert themselves as pillars of the US economy and supply chain.
Russia is nowhere near what the USSR was.
What should be done? Are we just too weak as a society to properly deal with China?

What happened to Europe is a punishment for the holocaust. They will never be united again in that way, perhaps for good reason.
