Dude if you think I’m aligned with Israel you are way off target.

You’re arguing with very low IQ people. They are trolls who are mostly dems and woke right types.

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said there was “no malicious intent whatsoever” in the ban, only concern for the safety of the celebrants.
Sounds like some frickery going on

Al-Aqsa Mosque in the walled city of occupied East Jerusalem has been closed for the past 30 days, following a joint military campaign launched by Israel and the US targeting the Iranian regime on Feb. 28.
Israel declared a state of emergency nationwide and closed all holy sites in Jerusalem, including the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Western Wall, the most revered site for Jewish worship.
Israel is not very good at hating on just one religion.

How many threads are going to happen on this?
It is Palm Sunday they had Mass they couldn't do the full procession with palms..
Netanyahu said they will be able to have further Masses.
This is a cathedral they couldn't do a full procession with the Palms.
You imbeciles with a divisive hate Israel theme to divide MAGA; dont care about BiBi one way or another or the Palm Sunday service.

Christians are treated very poorly in Israel all the time.
No, they're not. But I'm sure you based this on having been there, and to the old city. 80% of the Christians in Israel are Arab, not Orthodox or other easily identifiable pale faces.
The rabbinate and government have been condemning "attacks" (spitting on the ground on a miniscule percentage of the tens of thousands of Christians walking the stations of the cross, etc.) for years. But keep using it as an excuse to say the Jews have it coming.

Several highly publicized incidents involving ultra-Orthodox Jews harassing Christians in the Old City of Jerusalem have been reported.
Marinella Bandini/CNA, May 1, 2024 – National Catholic Register
During the Jewish Passover (Pesach) in late April, an unprecedented initiative took place in Jerusalem.
On the eve of the festivities, anticipating the arrival of numerous Jewish worshippers to fulfill religious precepts, several posters and pamphlets appeared in the streets of the Old City calling on the public to avoid offensive behavior and harassment toward Christians and non-Jews.
“We must together maintain ‘Derech Eretz’ (‘proper behavior precedes the Torah’) in regard to the respect of mankind, to non-Jews and those of a different religion, especially during Passover and throughout the entire year. We must prevent and prevent others from spitting in the direction of others who are not Jewish,” a short excerpt from the poster reads.

Sounds reasonable that Israel would be concerned about some death cult member blowing up innocent Christians during Easter Sunday services.
I don't see the issue.

The move comes as Israeli authorities restrict access to religious sites in East Jerusalem amid the war with Iran, including Al Aqsa Mosque and the Western Wall, citing security concerns.
Looks like the Israeli government were being equal opportunity assholes, to include Jews.
