I don’t give a frick about either side. I just want the U.S. to stay out of it.
But for the sake of argument, if they are in a war, why would either side be helping the other?
Starvation and control of supply lines has been a military tactic since the beginning of time.

I thought Israel was feeding them so they could blow them with a full stomach.

They're definitely helping.

They’re not at war with Palestinian civilians (supposedly.)

If Israel really wanted to torture and mistreat these people they would have made them keep Greta a month or so ago when she showed up.

That’s not how war works. You can’t feed civilians and starve soldiers.

The put on a little hat and kiss a bunch of stone bricks in Israel gig is getting really creepy and tiresome

Ya at this point frankly I care as much about a hostage situation that I have zero power/influence over as Israel does about their laser guided precision strikes on Churches that are killing Christians for no good freaking reason. "oopsie doopsie!" they say about that. Just another unfortunate accident that we must blame on Hamas.
Christians are being slaughtered and persecuted worldwide. I'm gonna focus worrying about my people over the wishes/feelings/needs of a country that has all the might and military power in the world to defend itself and rescue their poor hostages.
Israel could put boots on the ground and confront their Hamas hostage holding enemies the old fashion way. But they won't. Can't risk Israeli lives like that. Therefore bombs away from a safe distance is the game they will continue to play.

I don't think he mentioned that the captors arm in that photo looks like he's well fed in comparison to the captive's.
Hamas claims the hostages are eating the same food and the same amount as they are but Israel is starving the hostages.

They care more about killing
Israel is in a shitty spot
Sparing and protecting civilians just means more enemies in the future
Perpetual war

Mike Johnson is a Southern Baptist, so, of course, he wants the USA to side with Israel no matter what, because he believes that this is God's Command to the USA and its citizens.
MOST Protestants agree with him.
The Roman Catholic Vatican has never fervently supported Israel and in fact, formally recognized the state of Israel as recently as the year 1993.
The USA is a Protestant country, and, it seems to me that the USA will fight for Israel to the last American life and the last American penny, because they believe that God commands this.

And Catholics were actually right all those years. Younger Protestants like myself are waking up from the programming we were raised in that proclaimed a need to ALWAYS "support Israel" as being some sacred part of our ideology. Protestants were duped by the Schofield Bible revisionism funded by literal Zionist Jews.
Biblical Israel is not where "the jews" lived. "The Jews" were called "the Jews" because they were from a different Kingdom called Judea. Literally makes no sense historically calling the inhabitants of "Israel" "jews". In fact "The Jews" had nothing to do with "The Israelis" of the Kingdom of Israel for 1000 years before Christ was born. Jesus was a "jew" because he was Judean. Not because he was "Jewish" religiously. "Yahwehism" was the religion he was born into. And "Yahwehism" had many different sects and was spun off/practiced many different ways by the descendants of Abraham. Hence, the Old Testament detailing the history of all the various differing Hebrew tribes that descended from Abraham and Moses never being quite on the same page and worshipping all kinds of different false idol gods.
"Judaism" as we call it today wasn't even an established term/concept when Christ our Lord was walking the Earth. We've just all been conditioned to assume that "Judaism" was already a thing and that there is no Christianity without this thing called "Judaism" that our religion derives from. In the days of Jesus nobody was walking around calling themselves followers of a religion called "Judaism". The birth of what we now call Judaism was not organized until centuries after the death of Christ in response to how Christianity was taking over and transforming the region. The New Testament is centuries older than the Talmud.
Christ is clear about his thoughts regarding the Synagogue of Satan. "The Jews" of today have nothing to do with the covenant God made with Abraham. And "The Jews" certainly had NOTHING to do with Biblical Israel. Christians need to snap out of the idea that we hail from something called "Judaism". Total modern day Jewish led revisionist history.

Thanks. Good points.
I was a young adult before I realized that so many of my fellow Americans believed that The Bible commands them to protect the State of Israel to the utmost, and that God will punish the USA - and will punish us individually - unless we do so.
I had no idea that so many of my fellow Americans believed that The Bible tell them so. I was very surprised and a bit concerned to learn that these fellow Americans of mine allowed their Religion to dictate their opinions on a major US foreign policy area.
No wonder why we have such a tough time implementing a Middle East Foreign Policy.
Then I began to meet people who believe that the Earth and Universe are roughly 6,000 years old because that's what the Book of Genesis says.
I don't want US Middle East Foreign Policy to be whatever Bibi says it's going to be.

The Jews of today are not the "Synagogue of Satan". Many Protestants today say that the Roman Catholic Church is the Synagogue of Satan. Of course, it's not.
