When you step in a pile of shite and don't clean your boots off, it gets everywhere.

We've been tracking it everywhere for about 50 years.

They want Southern Lebanon for two reasons.

1. It is the established stronghold of Hezbollah
2. They want to expand their territory

Important to note that Israel did strike Beirut yesterday (and have throughout their offensive war in Lebanon) which is not Southern Lebanon.

Iran knows Trump/Vance royally fricked up and now they will drive a wedge between the US and Israel by attacking Israel.

This makes no sense. What was reported was a huge win for Iran. Why would they then enact a strategy to have that win invalidated and to continue the war?

Because their goal of destroying Israel has never wavered.

To counter your argument, their best position would be that there are internal conflicts and there is a power struggle where those that oppose any deal would sabotage things.

“ , they're going to frick the whole peace accord up. ”(quote tt).

Ha ha. There is not a rational person breathing that thinks the Iranian Jihadists have thrown the towel in. Israel don’t play games, even though Trump must for the Midterms. Did Israel even sign any Deal re the Iranian proxies in Lebanon?

It is to our advantage that Mossad continues targeting Jihadist and provokes them to expose themselves. No more games with Hezbollah and Hamas. Let them and the Jews handle their affairs.

But that just continues the war. Unless the US flips and starts attacking Israel, all that conflict does is prolongs the war and increases the chance of a less optimal deal for Iran.

Iran's been playing largely defensive this whole war. They'll strike just to remind people they can, but that was mostly the Arab nations anyway.

Is there any scenario where anyone else, including us, think these reasons are admirable?

We cannot be out here putting our economy on the ropes for Israel to gain land, I wouldn’t think.

They'll stop if we stop arming them.

Just make a public announcement that the US will not defend Israel. They'll act right or die.

Hopefully, Israel does what it wants with the Iranian proxies. If POTUS Trump does not agree, POTUS Trump can remove US military support from Israel regarding same.

because if the war stops, netanyahu goes to trial for corruption and probably prison. trial is delayed because of the war.

Oh no. I guess we won't get to sign the deal that encourages us to pay 300bn to rebuild Iran.
