C) Any guided weapons that Iran and thus the proxies have, and we're pretty sure Iran has purchased them, but don't have much to waste are from the Chinese. ETA: and a US warship would damn sure be worth that expenditure of resources. An oilfield, not so much.
D) they are probably referring to targeted, likely gps, missiles. We do know that the Iranians have a whole but load of French Exocet missiles with the bolt-on advanced targeting/fins for land-to-water or water-to-water use.

If non-nuke... what are we up to now... 33 Americans. So if over 1400 people killed. Many of them raped, tortured, and/or their bodies desecrated, some of them alive and held hostage, probably being tortured, including children, some of them Americans isn't going to prompt us bombing the shite out of somebody within 72 hrs. not much they can do out of Lebanon or Gaza will.
Our official response to above in the first 48 hrs. came from the State Dept was to urge Israel to exercise restraint.

This is not that big of a deal since we have our strategic reserves full of oil.
