The Attack on U.S. Al-Asad Airbase in Western Iraq appears to have been much more Significant than Initial Reports indicated, with multiple Rockets and Drones having been launched towards the Base within the last few hours; there so far has been no word on Damage or Casualties.

The USS Carney was the ship missiles were fired at. 3 in total. It is believed that were fired by the Houthi terrorist group out of Yemen.

They probably heard how good the DFAC was. Flew out of there my first deployment on the way back home. Knew we still operated it but curious how many personnel are there. Biden will be in deep shite if they had casualties.

The media is partly to blame for this shite. Instead of validating their sources, they all ran with the Israel bombing a Hospital story without any facts and got every violent minded Mohammedan jacked up and wanting to fight someone or something. Their hubris and disregard for the truth is going to get more people killed on all sides.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has claimed Responsibility for the Rocket and Drone Attack tonight on U.S. Forces at Al-Asad Airbase in Western Iraq; this is the same Group which has reportedly Attacked U.S. Forces in Syria and Iraq over the last few days.

Sounds like those boys want some freedom delivered to them at high velocity.

We’ve had to make due with Hamas and the little brother militias accidentally blowing themselves up.

I read that 30% of their rockets either land in Gaza or the Med.

If I saw them setting up near my house I would beat their arse with a shoe (I think that being hit with a shoe is a big issue with them).

I've said from the beginning Israel is overreaching and needs to have a sense of proportionality with these strikes. By now we should have a firm number on the rapes. They should start there. Once the rapes are carried out they should focus on the murders. We have to keep a level head.

I haven’t been out of pocket but believe the more pressing question is selecting the children to kill….proportionally and also the adults that need to be burnt alive….proportionally of course.

If this Administration had any balls they would call in every reporter that ran to the presses on the WH and Congressional beats and revoke their press credentials until they print a top of the front page retraction saying the really fricked up and didn’t apply journalistic principles.

At the risk of sounding dramatic, I ask this seriously… am I the only one here who legitimately believes we’re about to be dragged into a very significant regional conflict? Maybe even what will come to be known as WWIII? My only theory as to why we’re not absolutely fricking shite up in response to these recent attacks is knowing it’ll spark a major conflict. Seems the region is trying to bait us into it.

Another one of those "if I was in charge" posts...

If I was in charge, knowing that if it wasn't for domestic problems the Saudis would have not "paused" further implementation of the Abraham Accords and would be actually helping us/Israel because they too consider Iran and their proxies a dire threat...

... I would be inserting teams into Yemen and Egypt to send some look-alike Iranian drones and homemade rockets towards Saudi to "help them moderate their domestic narrative".

I'd say normally, yes under "cold war" conditions, pre-Iraq invasion. But no under these conditions for 2 reasons (primarily):

1. Iran knows this administration is "more tolerant" to Americans being killed on foreign soil and will even pay big bucks for the live ones.

2. Iran and it's proxies, knowing that tolerance and the traitors we have in our own government calculate that they can strike, escalate, and then talk "cease fire" and we will respond accordingly. So they don't push the envelope because they know exactly how far they can push and are ok with it. They don't want a broad conflict either, but they know they can achieve their aims without it.
