Iraq had no immediate designs for the region. Saddam, while a terrible human being, had learned his lesson after getting trounced by the Coalition in the Persian Gulf War. While he had no problem killing persecuted minorities within his own country, I doubt very seriously he had any plans to attack Kuwait or Iran anytime soon.
Meanwhile, Iran is actively engaged in a long term proxy war against Israel - our closest ally in the Middle East. Their regime's stated policy is to wipe Israel off the map and have been working actively toward that end in one form or another since the 1980s. I think we can safely say that Iran was behind the attacks of October 7, 2023 that killed over 1,000 Israelis. Additionally, Iran has been engaging us in a proxy war via the Houthis ever since.
Iran is a bad actor that has destabilized the region and who is actively looking for a weapon that can destroy Israel once and for all. They must not have that weapon. I would prefer not to get involved but there must be no ceasefires or truces this time. The only way this ends once and for all time is regime change.

These are the countries that currently have nuclear weapons..
United States, Russia, France, China, the United Kingdom, Pakistan, India, Israel, and North Korea.
The emboldened countries are all barbaric, if not out right primitive.
I don't want to see another nuclear armed country, especially one with the same sort of war lust Israel has, but there's a certain inevitability to this. Sooner or later, to counter act Israel, another Middle Eastern country will arm itself with nuclear weapons.
I wonder if Isreal is willing to make nuclear concessions in this? I wonder if the United States has asked them to? Probably not on both counts. Israel has the United States of America in its pocket. They no more require nuclear weapons than Iran.

How did it go the last time the globalist propaganda pushed the idea that a middle eastern country (Iraq) had weapons of mass destruction? Here we are, trillions of dollars of debt later….

just curious how old were you in 1979? iran has been a monarchy for the last 700 years, the islamic revolution that your hero jimmy carter ( who loved the baby jesus) ushered in in 1979 is 47 years old. we can right a historical wrong with a couple B2's why not. you don't pay taxes so it's free for you!

How many wars since WW2 have we wasted our blood and treasure on because of bullshite reasons? We are so far in debt because the last 70 years we've been chasing bullshite. The only positive we've got from all of that is a free South Korea. Everything else has blown up in our faces giving us more enemies and debt.

The key difference in Iran and Pakistan is that Iran is much better funded and organized and it has the interest and ability to export and fund terrorism throughout the world.
Pakistan’s terrorism efforts, while certainly not good, are much more limited in ability and scope to regional conflicts with India. The fact that Pakistan has nuclear weapons and hasn’t used them shows how different Pakistan and Iran truly are.
TLDR; Iran has the interest and means to export terrorism throughout the world, Pakistan wants to stick it to India specifically.

Israel has been saying they're close since as far as I can remember. When I was in HS, i remember bibi on TV saying they were a few months away from a workable warhead.... said the same thing in 2008 and again in 2015.. here we are 20+ years later and the same shite show from bibi. How about we let them sort it out? if I remember correctly, the Israeli's basically stole the technology from us, they have no leg to stand on in terms of morality and who should/should not have a nuke.
