What am I missing here? I feel like Trump is probably 50/50 right now and has the enthusiasm and ground game advantage... but man all the polls look terrible,. Even more R favorable polls aren’t great.

I know we can say polls suck, but I don’t want to seem ignorant to reality either... Is trump doomed? Way behind?

Why not just wait and see?

Why do you people come to this board assuming we know the answer to this question?

What is the point?

Turn off the computer, shut off cable news, and stick your phone in your pocket. Try to forget what the talking heads are telling you reality is, and focus on what actual reality is.

Now... does it feel like Trump is losing?

Just watch the Biden campaign the last month or two. Every move they have made is based on horrible internal polling. He is basically running on Trump's platform now for fricks sake

Just show up to the polls and vote.

The rest is hand wringing and mental masturbation.

It has been very frustrating to see little to no pushback against these pre-planned media fake news stories coming out each week. You have to figure that these are going to keep coming from now till Election Day.

60% are probably favoring him right now, but with the cheating going on. It’s 50/50.

My guess is that he was WAY behind 2 months ago and has pulled closer now...with a LOT of wood to chop. It's a coin flip at best. I continue to worry about he Senate.

It’s possible, and really COVID would be mostly to blame. It stalled all momentum we had with the economy and allowed Dems to rile up the olds and suburban housewives (Karen’s) with emotional fear. Just sucks

But Trump can still survive it, these debates will go a long way since it pushes Biden into the public eye

While I do not believe the race is so far apart I do believe Trump is losing. The mantra of 2016 being thrown up is troublesome. 2020 is not 2016 and if Trump wins i will be more shocked than I was in 2016.

Looking at the trends and the media it shows you where this is going. The media has gone to war with Trump and he lost. He won many battles but American's are not interested in searching for real news.

We are in this odd world were you can wear a Biden mask but not a Trump mask. I have to imagine polling is very similar to this. In that most don’t want the push back from liberal friends for supporting Trump.

You can skew R favorable polls as well

For instance, if i oversample suburbabn women as my R demographic it will skew more favorable to biden

Polls are no longer used to paint a picture but to support a narrative

After 2016 I would hope anyone with any sense doesn't take much stock in any polling.

These same people had Clinton with a 98% chance of winning up until the election.

Don't believe the hype...
