Student Allegedly Assaults Teacher For Taking His Phone

quote:

On Tuesday, a student at Cedar Hill High School in Texas appeared to assault physics teacher Bobby Soehnge during class after Soehnge took his phone away.

The student in the video can be seen "knocking papers off a teachers desk, cursing and then shoving the teacher's face," WFAA reported.

The video — which was uploaded to Facebook by Chris Hunt, whose daughter attends the school — sparked outrage as it went viral on the social media platform.

"Give me my f**king phone. This is the last time asking your stupid arse," the teen yelled at the teacher before shoving his face. "Give me my damn phone."

The teacher gave in and gave the student his phone back.

"[The teacher] actually met with the student after the class, they talked, they hugged," said McDonald. "He spent a lot of time working with the student through the course of the year. They have a great relationship and that was just a bad day the student was having."

They have an abusive relationship. And the teacher and administrators just enable him.

It’s a public school following policies enacted or recommended by the DOE for the discipline of students. Any other dumbass questions?

True story. My daughter was an English Education major in college. She wanted to be an English teacher. When her senior year arrived it was time for her student teaching assignment. She was assigned to a public high school in East L.A. She came home after one day and decided to change her career plan. After she graduated she went to grad school and got an M.S. in Library Science, and now works as a librarian. One single day with those savages was enough to make her change careers. And it's a shame because she's brilliant (Magna Cum Laude grad) and compassionate; she loves learning and teaching. But she said she could not fathom spending her life in that setting.

So this student can overpower the teacher and take his gun from him/her? Yeah that would work. Guns are not magic shields.
