This is just a bunch of word salad that doesn't mean shite. The entire asylum process is junk law abused and manipulated. There is no legitimate reason for anyone from central or south America to get asylum in the United States.
There are places around the world where that case could be made, but this is not it.

I wouldn’t say insensitive but it’s politically stupid. I didn’t know they were illegal immigrants until just now. Now the people who want to close the border will stop caring about this story because they’re glad these people are dead.
