Did both sides agree to a truce or something? You'd have thought that story would have been a media goldmine.

I'm thinking the angles were so divergent that neither "side" really had anything to cling to and run with.

The point being, though, at least there one could see what the angles actually were.

I'm willing to admit that Paddock was just a sad loner who snapped. I just still can't understand how the story went 'poof' so quick.

What sort of conspiracy? If there was a conspiracy why would they make it look like a shady conspiracy and not have some ready made explanation?

Maybe so.

For comparison, I ran the trends of Vegas vs. Orlando vs. Newtown shooting, and while Newtown wasn't as big (relatively speaking using Google's search algorithm), Newtown stayed more consistent for longer.

As someone mentioned on page 1, kids vs. adults is a significant difference.

I don't get it either. The media moved on, as they always do, but the story and investigation have continued. Three weeks ago an Arizona ammunition dealer was charged by authorities with "conspiracy to manufacture and sell armor-piercing ammunition without a license." His fingerprints were found on an unfired round in Paddock's suite.

It seems pretty obvious that they're doing a thorough investigation that simply isn't turning up the salacious details people wanted to hear.

Who established those facts and how? How does a guy living in a town with probably the most surveillance cameras per capita as any place on earth manage to appear in only ONE known photograph?

There is also that one grainy video from a security camera showing him slipping and falling in one of the casinos.

Body Cam footage

Here, we have body cam footage from the team making entry into Paddock's suite. Around the 30-40 second mark, you hear someone in the room say "no broken windows."

Burn it all down.

But gun control talk dies less than a week later and really no new information has come out since.

Lemme get this straight.

You think the MSM is a goose-stepping arm of the left, which wants only criminals and tyrannical regimes to have guns. This was an MSM wet dream.

Despite that, this false flag operation (to do what exactly?) dropped from MSM coverage because (why exactly?)

I’m headed to JF, where I hope those around me have weed as good as yours.

I understand the casino(s) sweeping it under the rug for liability and PR purposes, but the public authorities going silent is a ruh roh.
You may be confused about the chain of command in Vegas.

The public authorities there are subservient to the casinos, not the other way around. Otherwise it would still be a little town in the middle of the desert like it was a century ago.

If this shooting had happened in almost any other major US city, there would have been a lot more public outcry. Vegas is all about getting back to business as quickly as possible. I was there a month ago, and outside of a larger LEO/private security presence, nothing appears to have changed - because no one wants to disrupt the flow of dollars from the suckers - errr, I mean 'tourists'.

One of the biggest oddities that actually got reported was Jesus Campos went to Mexico in the days following the shooting.

Tucker Carlson/Dan Bongino

Probably your best witness and you allow him to leave the country. I realize options are limited for keeping him here but I mean you have to wonder why everything wasn't done to keep the man who last engaged with the shooter of our worst mass shooting in US history. When you completely clamp down on information in regards to an event of this magnitude you invite the conspiracies.

Full disclosure; I don't mind throwing on some tin foil about some things. I just haven't been able to gather enough information to form a solid opinion on Vegas. The only thing I'd be willing to wager an opinion is this;

-Paddock had spook written all over him.
-The FBI absolutely knew who Paddock was because he was either a) Doing work for them or b) he'd work for them in the past.
