Not really at all. There are over 100,000 schools (elementary and secondary combined), but we will use an even number for this. Per Toddy on Fox, there have been 25 mass shootings since Columbine. This tells us you have a 0.025% of being at a school during a shooting and then the number drops from there to be an actual victim.
For reference - If you are an unborn child, you have roughly 15% chance of being killed by your Mom not wanting you.

Every school shooting is a one-off. Every one has been perpetrated by a different individual.
Las Vegas disappeared because a bunch of white conservatives got killed. The folks at CNN were too afraid they'd accidentally start celebrating all the deaths on-air and give their true feelings away.

In the capacity to sensationalize a narrative to push a leftist agenda, one clearly lends more fuel to the fire. Of course, lets disregard the notion that all of these cases are carried out by vile, evil less-than-human garbage. As a political vehicle, there are apparent varying subjective levels of evil. We must sit and wait for the morally superior left to tell us what that is, the state is all-knowing, all powerful.
