The real danger with this development is that out of frustration and fear Putin will attack Ukraine with tactical nuclear weapons.

One would think he would already have done that? He’s capable. Thts why this war is mostly fiction. Photo ops with five soldiers standing in front of a building holding a flag. Ooooooh. So believable!

We are in an election season. Biden is only concerned about MAGA semi-fascists. Putin could strike now and poof. Over. And anyone who doesn’t think Xi is in on this needs to get off television and do some independent research.

This war will last as long as all the money goes to all the right people and until they are satisfied. Which will be never.

The war is real and currently Putin is getting embarrassed by a nation who he does not consider to be a nation and a president who once played a piano with his penis on live tv.

This is what's called a "Cauldron", (Encircled military force).

Death toll about to go way up.

Here's a more recent (but still outdated) version of that map.

Its out of date in that the purple areas are fully under Ukrainian control now. Not so much of a pocket anymore.

Russia could likely crush them quickly but they aren't.

Russia is studying Western capabilities against their C and D Teams. Every time anything actually comes close to threatening Russian territory or actual interests, they surge. It's no accident. They're a big cat toying with their prey. Meanwhile, the West is scrambling to solve their winter fuel predicament without accepting a humiliating defeat to an underwhelming Russian war effort.

I’m starting to wonder if the Ukies winning this week is going to be shown to be due to a significant increase in US involvement. It’s obvious Europe is fricked this winter if Russia turns off the gas and Europe will blame the USA for propping up the Ukies. The only way to avoid this is for us to make sure the Ukies win quickly.

How exactly do "we" make sure the Ukies "win quickly" without US boots on the ground, or advanced aviation support? Russia has complete air superiority, at this point and our NATO "allies" do not have the stomach for a war with Russia.

Would you fight and die for Zelensky?

Ukraine does NOT have an unlimited supply of military aged men, (and women, aged 65 and under). Most of which are being snatched off the street, against their will and given little to no training. Does not include the wealthy or politically connected.

What do we, the US of A have to gain in this Eurasian conflict?

I am definitely implying that we may have special forces in Ukraine and are directly giving them targeting commands. I think DoD is way more involved in Ukraine than they are saying.

"could likely."

how? you mean Russia is going easy on them and doesn't really want to steal the trillions in mineral resources in the donbas?
lol. geez.
you miss where USA and eastern euro neighbors are giving Ukraine heavy artillery?
we give them drones?
Poland and Slovakia give them airplanes?

they are not in this alone.

I agree but is that enough? This is not Afghanistan our Ukrainian "friends" are fighting.

I don’t think it’s enough if Russia really takes the gloves off. I have no idea why they haven’t bombed Kiev at this point. It’s like they want to lose.
