I have served with many of the LDS faith. Many of them are individuals of strong character, strong families, strong faith and are absolutely the kind of folks you want in the foxhole with you under fire or otherwise watching your back.

Romney isn't one of those folks.

He's dead to me.

They should have asked Romney, find the person who is innocent to throw the "first stone" of condemnation.
However, "The Book of Mormon" may not have that Parable.

Many are great people, with a great work ethic and support their communities... Great employees as well...

Some, like all religions, are some real pieces of crap and in the political realm are using their "faith" as a political crutch...

Romney was dead to me when he took a pass on Obama and practically handed him the election without any effort...

Joseph Smith reminds me so much of Muhammad it's not even funny. The only major difference being that he was ashitty warlord.

Is his God Superior to others that prayed for guidance and came to a different conclusion?

Is his faith better than those that voted to acquit?

Is he morally superior to those that voted to acquit?

Seems that is what he is saying. He didn't really lay out reasons for Trump being guilty.

Instead, he played the Faith card in an effort to prevent people from judging his actions."

Considering he is a Mormon the answer to the first one above is ironically maybe yes, because it takes a LOT of "faith" to believe Joseph Smith and his made-up cult-religion are anything other than frauds.

And, the second one, I really have no idea, but a good indication that someone is doing something fricked up is when they tout it as being done pursuant to one's own righteousness.

In any event, Romney is a giant douch and a shite sandwich and dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb.

The God I worship kinda frowns upon people hiding behind His Name to justify acts rooted in malice and envy.

I can’t speak for the god or gods Willard worships.

I'm sure he thinks it's a better justification for his actions than having to admit to venal petty personal motivations like envy, covetousness, and hatred. All of which I'm pretty sure God frowns upon.

I wonder what Mitt thinks God thinks about Mitt breaking bread with the Democratic Party and their profane secular religion? A gospel of racial and class division. Prosperity for all promised without personal effort. A utopia funded by theft of personal property through unwarranted taxation and redistribution. An unholy sacrament of infanticide for profit.

You're in their church now Mitt. Indulging your envy and hatred of the President and lying about that by blaming your decision on God.

Moroni must have given Romney some special glasses to read the secret hidden print in the impeachment documentation that no one else could see.

This passage jumped to mind when I read that however.
quote:

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Romney has had so many advantages in life that being where he ended up is a huge failure. That’s why he’s such a bitter person and why he’s grasping at relevance so desperately. In his mind at least now he’ll have a sentence of history so daddy won’t be able to talk down on him for eternity.

Romney's God lives in a hat.

All we know about Mitt is he doesn't believe in the Republican party but he believes in Volcanoes and Aliens and Frozen Aliens and him being given a body of a Frozen dead Alien.

Everyone’s god is superior to everyone else’s, or there would be only one god worshipped.

Romney’s god died in a shootout. You have to admit the allure. Instead of wearing gold chains with crosses, they have 6 shooters.
