Ah. Thats fair. Politicians are pretty stupid. No way they could've foreseen that requiring ID would affect races with a higher percentage of folks that dont possess an ID more than others.

Voter turnout in Georgia was actually up across the board and went down among black people. That seems kinda like the law suppressed voting in one group.
What was the % decrease in voter turnout for black voters with ID vs those without ID?
ETA: And if we want to go this route, ballots cast actually increased from the 2020 election. The turnout rate went down, overall votes cast though increased.

First of all, she’s wrong that there’s any restrictive law on the books for voting. It’s actually more inclusive than Colorado, where the game was moved to, which is far less in black population & also less restrictive than with Delaware.
So FJB.
But she does get one thing right in calling out people who had no problem with taking the game out of Atlanta then but are celebrating being here now. That’s the only thing she got right. And what has changed? It’s the hyperbole and asinine claims initially made to excuse the actions of the MLB commissioner

They were hoping to get disillusioned voters to turnout when they wouldn’t have voted before.
Can’t control the outcomes.

20+ posts in this 13 page thread, including some absurd comparisons about nudists and rap albums among many others. DEFINITELY not defending progressive stupidity from totally not a progressive Corinthians
Just to update, Corinthians has nearly 80 posts in this thread, and the vast majority are arguing voter id laws are racist and lead to voter suppression. The ones that aren’t we’re defending mlb’s decision to move this game in 2021, because virtue signaling.
But he is DEFINITELY not a progressive, and has no idea why anyone would think he is
