doing what a good VP should do, stay in the background and support trump not trying to upstage him everytime a tv camera is aroun.

The Point is there isn't any news coverage about him at all. As vice president he is the presiding officer of the senate. I would expect to hear him pushing or getting buy in on some of Trump's legislation initiatives...

Yep and OP might have know this had the ceremony been properly covered by the media. I don't think Fox gave it justice.
