Is our government spending problem more of a fraud problem?

A spending problem with inadequate auditing will lead to fraud. But audits may find fraud after the fact, or they may not.
W have a spending problem, first and foremost. Greatly reduce spending, then audit the remaining leech systems to the core several times per year.

Yes income tax season should hit harder this year knowing that not only is the government wasting your money but that a good chunk of it is going straight to outright thieves and grifters many of who are anti-America.

How about adding some transparency as well?
What if there was a website where we could see who every welfare recipient was and how much they receive?
Internet sleuths would absolutely root out the fraudsters.

I think they'd be as good at this as they are at identifying mass shooters.

Obviously.
What are YOU going to do about it (through your representatives)?
Nothing. The outrage will subside once you’re fed the Super Bowl, etc., and it will continue to grow.
Rinse. Repeat.

Yes. It is everywhere. Crooks in charge of crooks. Need Christian values.

It’s an American voter problem.

Agreed.
Maybe some transparency will help voters understand the results of their voting choices.

And this is how politicians get filthy rich on both sides, that why there no audits

No. The spending problem is mainly a vote-buying problem, but it’s legal. Graft is a small percentage of our spending. Inefficiency is a larger problem. But eliminating both would not get us anywhere near a balanced budget.

As the great man once implied, someone who spends another man’s money on someone else will not worry about how it is spent.

That is a gratuitous comment, and is parallelism as well.
We are excellent at identifying mass shooters, as we catch almost all of them ex post facto, which is what we are talking about with fraudsters.

Nonsense! They’ve identified 25 of the last three mass shooters.

It appears we have a lack of Balls problem in this country
The scams are right out in the open but we don’t see any punishment for it

There is fraud everywhere the federal government spends money. It definitely compounds with spending levels.
Posted on 12/21/25 at 8:32 am to TrueTiger
Certainly not. We all know that all the USaid money was actually going to tranny shows in the middle east. .

For a 3rd straight time we’ve gotten Trump elected. We’re willing to watch these fraudsters hang in public. We are ready to endure whatever it is we have to in order to see these folks removed from our country.
And you hit us with “well what are y’all even doing?” Who the hell are you?
If we had our way this shite would be fixed by now.
I’m unfortunately not smart enough to efficiently put words together to explain my point, but you and SFP nibbling at the margins of retarded MAGA folks and hammering the low hanging fruit that comes out of this admin while also giving the left a pass at every turn and then blaming us of all people for more action not being taken at the top is bullshite.
