Is it true that Congress isn't subject to FOIA requests?

Heard Rush say this last week when a caller stated that the public should inundate Congress members with FOIA requests for their financials after their harassment of Trump and his family over their past financials.
Rush said that Congress was exempt from this statute. This cannot be true, right? If so just another example of how lazy and disconnected from our government the people have become in that we allowed this to happen right before our eyes.

That's what I'm asking. Take for instance these "foundations" all these corrupt bastards have. Just last week it was published that Cummings' wife is arse hole deep in corruption with a foundation that receives grants from approved by a committee her fricking husband is the Chair of.

My understanding that depending upon what section of the Internal Revenue Code they were formed under, most of these foundations must give you all of their tax return information on request. In fact, if you show up at their main office, they are required to have the last three years of tax returns ready for your inspection and copying.
Now, tax returns can only tell you so much. I'm not sure that they have to give you anything beyond the tax return.

I understand the foundation financials angle but I mean these corrupt arse congress members themselves.

Not surprising. They dont have to live by the same standards we regular folks do. Iirc they dont have to live under obamacare rules either.
Pelosi needs to be exposed soooo bad, but she obviously uses her power to protect herself. What is she worth $100m+ or something?? I heard, during the FB hearings period, she shorted tech stocks too. Wonder why...

They have to file the same kind of financials Trump does/did for campaigns. But that is through the Federal Election Commission: "Candidates running for president (or any federal office) are required to detail their financial holdings, debt and sources of income so that the public can identify any conflicts of interest they may have." from OpenSecrets.org

they voted to exempt themselves from any and all forms of public exposure to criminal acts and corruption.
while simultaneously voting themselves raises and creating their own bank to loan them money at zero interest and doing nothing if the loan is never paid back.

When the fed govt searched high and low for a real estate firm to sell off all the unused post offices, in prime real estate across the country.....they found Pelosi's husband, no conflict there eh???
