I just have my shite on “auto-defend” which became necessary due to your type scouring the universe, all day, every day, for anything and everything you can criticize Trump about, and each new thing hour after hour is a bombshell and an outrage and an existential crisis. So after a while it became a “boy who cried wolf” thing, and me personally, I just set my Trump status on cruise-control-defend. It became rather clear a long time ago that each next “criticism” or “concern” I see is not a serious effort to voice genuine concerns, but rather efforts to take swipes and swings at Trump.
If somewhere mixed in there there’s an actual true and genuine concern or invitation for honest debate/dialogue - I guess you can thank the many, many jackasses for ruining that once-honorable practice.

Maybe, but an internal investigation would be subject to internal rules, whereas a court proceeding wouldn't. Perhaps his goal is to bring poisonous individuals inside the IRS and force them to testify.
