Absolutely I did. Biden was awful and I’m much happier to have Trump. That said, I don’t have to like the gas prices we have now.

We’re five months into this and we’re hearing double and triple dog dares over the Strait of Hormuz every day. There’s no clear game plan or goal.

No one wants to admit it but things would be significantly worse worldwide without China helping keep prices somewhat in check.

While all eyes are on the Hormuz and Bab-el-Mandeb, don't forget about the global refining system and the risk of outages...
Nearly 10% of global refining capacity is offline across the Middle East & Russia due to damage or constrained exports through Hormuz. Refineries elsewhere are running harder to meet product demand, but high utilization and summer heat are contributing to unplanned outages.
A fire has temporarily shut Pennsylvania’s Trainer refinery. Germany’s Gelsenkirchen refinery, the country’s 5th largest, is also offline after a fire. Nigeria’s Dangote refinery is reportedly operating at 55% because of equipment problems, reducing a key source of jet fuel for Europe.
Under these circumstances, any outage has a larger than normal impact on markets.
