Is fat shaming back on the table?

I’m confused, I thought anti “fat shaming” and promoting body positivity was all the rage these days. Plus size models, SI swimsuit with Ashley whatever her name is, etc.

Watching the news this morning and seeing clips from late night shows, seems like mocking someone for their weight is acceptable again

Heat quit working in my truck, so I had to take it to a Ford dealer on Monday morning.

Got stuck in their waiting room ... and, some BS like the Today show was on TV ... it then transitioned into poor Megyn's new BS show. Wow ...what a fall.

They had SI-supermodel Nina Agdal on there ... crying because she claims she'd lost the cover of some magazine for being fat.

Mind you ... this is one of the most beautiful women on the planet.

Fat Shaming is NOT back on the table.

TRUMP is just a hypocritical exception.

Ummm NO, judging from how head-over-heels in love with Michelle Obama's beach appearance in Miami. She looked like a pig in ridiculously short white shorts (she's 54 and still thinks she's in her twenties), yet the media called her white hot.

I guess the shaming depends on who you are as decided by the fake news media!

Well of course it is. Liberals don't actually BELIEVE in any of the principles they use as weapons.

You sound fat. She certainly isn’t “white hot” but for a 54 year old woman she’s keeping things pretty tight. What kinda shape are you in yourself there mom ha

Only if you're a liberal and your party ran on the "Love trumps hate" platform. Hell you can even degrade and speak down to women on Live TV if you're a black male US senator. Just don't try this if you are a Republican because, well, that's wrong.

I'm confused as well.

I thought we all loved fat shaming, but apparently you guys get really sensitive when people make fun of Trump being fat

Super confusing days these are

The left can insult and make fun of the right all the want. When the right does something it is wrong, sexist, racist, and intolerant.

I do love fat shaming and I think it’s wrong to celebrate being overweight. The news and popular culture has been feeding (see what I did there) this body positivity nonsense the last few years.

Even Trumps own doctor says he needs to lose weight, it’s no question he could.

I just find it comical that Colbert, Meyers, and media talk show hosts can openly mock Trumps weight and they don’t see their own hypocrisy.

ETA: I don’t see how it’s confusing to point out hypocrisy of media/popular culture. Not very confusing at all but I guess I don’t know your age or mental capacity

No one is sensitive about it other than the fact that fat liberals have always wanted the death penalty for anyone who body shames or fat shames, only now it appears to be ok. "When they go low, we go high" though, right?

What about them thighs?!?! No one's perfect, but at least have the decency to dress appropriately for your figure.

I feel like Oprah looks fit and healthy lately. Isn't she like 50?

I agree with your overall point though - especially since the Dems' most recent nominee literally fainted in 74 degree "heat"

We're annoyed with the blatant hypocrisy of the left, not the act of calling Trump "fat".
