Is deadly force appropriate to stop one from striking another in the head with a hammer?

How many times was Pelosi struck in the head in the presence of the police? Did they have their guns drawn or draw them? Would deadly force be inappropriate in such a scenario?

Depape's peepee was firmly implanted in Paul's bunghole. If the popo took a shot, they could have hit Pauly.

only if the hammer is being used after the Safe Word is spoken.

I wouldn't trust the poli e to aim straight.
50/50 chance they hit the wrong person.

How many head strikes with a hammer does it take to kill an 80 year old?

Pretty sure Cali police have been neutered so no deadly force

Absolutely. Come at me with a hammer and you get 45ACP

Oh ... wait ... they've chosen not to share that.

They'd have to blur most of it anyway what with two naked men on it.

California deemed it a mostly peaceful hammer.

Depends on the state, but more importantly, depends on the jury.

I feel fairly confident in saying that in almost any jurisdiction in the United States a citizen armed with a handgun would be justified in using deadly force to protect himself or ANOTHER from death or great bodily harm from a person wielding a HAMMER. That goes double for a policeman.

Yes. That is not a legal determination. I think of it in terms of what I would do if someone was threatening my mother with a hammer. I may aim for vitals but about 4 rapid shots aiming below the waist.

Guy waited til the police got there and were looking at him before he elected to drop the hammer. Very common occurrence. Lol

The reason police did not shoot the hammer holder was the 911 caller said he was a friend?

The cops in San Francisco don't carry guns, just like in England.
