Are Democrats ever genuine about anything?

If you’re a Democrat you are politically pro choice.
Killing babies is the sacred plank in the DNC/MSM Political Complex.
Democrats will allow some verbal free range for politicians in conservative states, but when the chips are down THEY ALWAYS tow the line and walk the plank like Mary.

His Catholic influence is considerable re Policy. Other issues like the degree of Religion/God to be allowed in School curriculums would also be popular with Conservative voters.

Remember how obama opposed same-sex marriage as a candidate but "evolved" following his election?

Congress is populated with Catholic democrats who have zero qualms about hacking a child to pieces.

Edwards is a political hack. Don't fall for his pandering.

This is true but know that none of the Edwards have ever taken a breath without considering the political consequences and opportunities.

They are generational politicians that have had few successes outside of politics.

He’s a very religious Catholic and he and his wife refused to abort their daughter despite spinal cord problems.

He’s fairly consistently Catholic with his anti-abortion and pro-social justice views. He’s largely being saved from the death penalty issue by the court order banning executions in Louisiana. Although I suspect he’d put more of an effort to fighting the court order, or at least changing state law to comply with the court order, if he were particularly pro-death penalty.

I’m sure he’s legitimately anti-abortion.

He may or may not be genuine when it comes to abortion but he hasn't done anything truly impressive at all when it comes to advancing pro-life policy.

For example, the Louisiana Department of Health is run by Dr. Rebekah Gee, whose history is pretty clearly on the pro-abortion side of the equation and JBE appointed her.

Another example, The Louisiana department of Health isn’t spending a dime defending the admitting-privileges bill the legislature recently passed or the other abortion cases the state is busy fighting, with legal fees mounting over a million dollars. That bill is being footed by the Attorney General’s office, whose budget Edwards doesn’t control. Edwards, has, however, repeatedly gutted that agency’s funding in his executive budgets since taking office.

Which is pretty strange, especially when Edwards makes statements like he did in June of last year saying that the case is “worth fighting.” Really? Then why does one of the least well-funded agencies in Louisiana’s entire government have to cover the cost?

It starts to become a little suspicious. Especially when “pro-life” John Bel Edwards never said anything about Northam’s cruel infanticide comments and still continues to fundraise with Northam and he will still take money from national organizations who are not pro-life.

Then why does he still take their money and fundraise with people who support infanticide?

You can propagandize for your guys all day but this is stupid. Jeff Landry is dumping a million dollars on outside attorneys and you don’t care. Your criticism is that JBE doesn’t have a DHH attorney duplicating the exact same thing the AG is doing?

Come on! That’s ridiculous.

For a guy that claims to be pro-life, it's pretty strange appointing a pro abortionist and not giving one day to defend the pro-life bills being litigated in court.

It's like a republican president appointing gun grabber for attorney general.
