Yep. I am simultaneously polarized to do more and being more intentional about shepherding my family to honor what CK can no longer do for his. 24+ hours isn’t much time to make change, but I am going to do what I can to make mine stick.
Never saw the video.

I've watched the video of both Charlie Kirk's assassination and the murder of the young lady in Charlotte, and it shakes my value of humanity.
The look on that young ladies face after she was stabbed in conjunction with the non-action of the bystanders is just mind blowing. It gives me nightmares

I’ve been angry all day. I’m always fairly busy at work and can usually tune stuff out and just do my work. I haven’t been able to wrap my mind around it until I saw a video on TT
Charlie Kirk represented me. He shared my thoughts and feelings and I looked up to him as a person and Christian. He had the ability to put my thoughts and concerns into words and sound educated while doing it.
I felt like he was a huge symbol of hope with today’s youth. Seeing the crowds at his events and the amount of college kids that would cheer and agree with him gave me hope.

I’m a grown-assed high-T man and have had numerous breakdowns, mostly thinking about his little girls and wife.
This is what’s getting me. I’ve got kids almost exactly the same age as his. I see the way they looked at him and it reminds me so much of how mine look at me. I don’t know how to describe it other than rage sadness.
I’m pretty even keeled and don’t tend to show emotions. I told my dad today I’m uncomfortably and irrationally emotional over this.

Besides having pure hatred for the left?

It’s so unsettling. It feels like someone would want to hurt one of you Baws like this. I can’t shake it either.

I’m more pissed off today than yesterday. Even more so at the responses from these pussy fricksticks on the left who contribute nothing to society.

The thing is releasing that the left has no problem with Charlie's killing and would like to do the same thing to all of us.

I’m at my GF’s beach house and drinking all day. She has never heard of Charlie Kirk. My best friend also died Tuesday. She is saying hey let’s talk about all this and I just want to keep drinking these cocktails. I’ll mourn all this later- Charlie as much as my buddy- because of what he represented. It’s the death of a central part of my world view, my absolute belief in Free Speech- at the hands of the absolute demonic forces that have seized Progressivism.
I love my fellow patriots and all who live true tolerance and Free Speech.
With that, another drink.

That’s why I won’t watch it.
I didn’t spend some time today in the pool, reading, working out and then sat in church for a bit to just “be”.
I still can’t believe that this happened.

For me it rivals 9/11. Oddly this seems worse because it's domestic terrorism.

I can’t unsee the video of him being shot.
Which is why I've not seen it. So far. Nor the slaying of Iryna. Might make me too angry. And as you said, it's hard to unsee that stuff.
I've tried to not get pulled into the flood of tears. Checked in here and there to read the room, as it were, and this is so much worse than most folks want to admit. Not folks here, or those who even had a passing idea of who Charlie Kirk was. But the country at large, who doesn't know.
They're about to.

The image of his head jerking and the blood shooting out is burned into my mind.

It affected everything. It is a spiritual war.

I hate to burst your bubble but there’s strong evidence the cia was behind that.

I take solace in the fact that he was a man of God strong in his faith
He is being used for a higher purpose right now

I had nightmares last night about it. I was in the military 9 years and saw all manner of gory shite via shared videos, etc, but this one was just brutal.
And its not because I knew him, I didn't. Heck, I didnt keep up with his content really. Just would see it in passing.
I think more-so it was what it symbolized. The people cheering in the crowd as it happened. They people cheering online. Cheering over the execution of free speech.
Our country is rotten.

I can’t shake it. I’m so god damn pissed off. I was pissed the frick off with the Ukraine girl and everything involved with all of that.
And then this. I’ve listened to Charlie 2-3x a week for years.

Nope. I woke up, went to the gym, came home and took a shower, had breakfast with my family, and went to work like I would any other day.
Why should today be any different?
Wow, you're so tough and stoic.
