You’re right I should have refrained and said I’m ashamed at our judicial system and our political leadership but I’m never ashamed to be an American.

Ashamed? No. Disgusted with the judicial system being selectively used to go after people or to not go after people (cough cough Hillary and Biden)... yeah that's pretty damned unAmerican if you ask me. It's the selective prosecution that bothers me to my core.

No. I’m just ashamed of many of my fellow Americans who think winning at all cost is worth destroying the country

Right, and that number includes all those who “knew better” but sat idly by while certain people claimed that George W Bush was a War Criminal or Barrack Obama wasn’t a US Citizen.

Those who blindly believe that Trump is subject to “law fare” and a witch hunt are equally as foolish as those who absolutely reject the fact that isn’t what is happening.

I no longer give a shite. The people who should have been standing up for us from the beginning, remained silent until a verdict was read, and now feign their disgust. frick this country, and the pieces of shite running it on both sides. It is corrupt beyond repair at this point.

I operate from the perspective that democRats =/= Americans.

So I'm not ashamed.

I swore never to say the pledge, sing the anthem, or fly the flag when they shite all over the constitution during Covid. I was one Supreme Court decision from either being forced to take experimental poison or lose my job. Today only affirms those feelings. My friends and family are worth fighting for. Everyone else is on their own. Wouldn’t blink if DC, NY, or LA went up in a mushroom cloud today.

Funny you say that. I was just thinking a few minutes ago that if a 9/11 hit D.C. or NYC right now, I would probably cheer.

Yep. Still not going to move because there is nowhere left to run so I guess I will wait it out until SHTF.

Then fight and die to change it to the way our founders meant it to be.

Not ashamed to be an American, ever.

The bullshite that happened in NY today is the antithesis of what it means to be an American. The judge and the prosecutors don’t deserve to call themselves Americans.

Hell if that judge was actually born in Columbia- let’s go ahead and deport him.

Let me preface this by saying there isn’t a liberal bone in my body.
I made money in grad school working as a bail bondsman. The thousands of times I saw young men and women rail raided by a corrupt criminal justice system would have taken your breath away. These are people that can’t afford to take the case to trial so they have no choice but to give in. A young man I knew had to borrow his brother’s car to get to work. The narcotics officers pulled him over because they thought it was his brother in the car. When they realized it wasn’t him, they handcuffed him and drove him to his brothers house and executed a search warrant. He didn’t even live with his brother, yet they charged him with the drugs they found in the house. A lawyer quoted him $10,000 to start if they went to trial. He may as well said $10 million. Looking at 15 years for doing nothing, he took a plea and spent 2 years in jail for absolutely nothing. I have 100’s of stories just like this one. DA, judges, and yes even some police are as corrupt as hell.
Anybody who is guilty of nothing more than growing up poor knows exactly what I’m talking about. Trump should run on criminal justice reform.
