They tried women and failed. They can't put up a gay. They need novelty. Abdul allegedly was born in Michigan, making him eligible to run for President - something Mamdani can't do. A Soros family scholarship funded his Doctor of Medicine at Columbia Medical School.
He is the Dem's attempt to rebut the notion that muslims can't assimilate. He went to Michigan where he was involved in club sports. His step-mother is white, he even ran a campaign ad showcasing his white grandparents. He's even trying to claim that Abdul is a conventional American name. He's innoculating every attack levied against Obama in 2008. This is catnip to the Karens. If he wins his Senate seat, he will run in 2028

His parents were Egyptian citizens at the time of his birth. He is not eligible for the presidency.
P.S. Neither is Don Jr. His mother was not a US citizen when he was born.

Don's father is a US citizen so he's eligible. Besides that Don Jr. was born on December 31, 1977 in Manhattan, New York City, USA.

I was taught in school in the 1950s that the phrase "natural-born citizen" is used only once in the Constitution - in the qualifications for President of the United States. We were taught that it meant born on US soil to two US citizens.

I think the key for his campaign is whether he has the apparatus to illegally release sealed court records of his opponent.

The school I went to in the 1950s taught that "natural -born citizen" meant someone born on US soil period.
