Freedom! Let women decide, not some Bie thumping red neck

I didn’t know they had that many minorities in Ireland as to where abortion would be something desirable.
Margaret Sanger specifically stated that abortion was all about controlling the undesirable minority population. This has been the goal of the abortion lobby and Democratic Party for a century.

I think the horrors the Catholic church has inflicted on its faithful in Ireland makes it clear the priests don't give a flip about G-d.

As a libertarian, Block’s analysis has some surface appeal to me, but is not the embryo/fetus more akin to an invitee than to a trespasser? Are the rights of an invitee not somewhat different from those of a trespasser?
It’s a hard distinction to make, but I lean more towards trespasser. Sure, if you have sex, you could get pregnant. If you park overnight in a high crime area, someone might break into your car.
Neither the pregnancy nor the burglary were desired nor invited, even though the actions you took made them possible/more likely.

Everybody wants the freedom to be whores.
Just don't lie about it, call it what it is.
Just don't lie about it, call it what it is.

PP did not perform abortions until after Sanger’s death.

Sanger's patients were told "that abortion was the wrong way – no matter how early it was performed it was taking life; that contraception was the better way, the safer way – it took a little time, a little trouble, but it was well worth while in the long run, because life had not yet begun."

Of all the terrible analogies in the history of terrible analogies.

No it isn't
Just say it
Everybody has the right to be a whore and face virtually no consequences for it because you really cannot ask them to behave any better than mongrel dogs.

It’s always fun when someone decides to be the characature that fiction like the Handmaid’s Tale attempts to portray

I mean if the entire point of cars and parking lots was to have to have a place for people to break into cars, your analogy wouldn't be terrible.

I think my analogy would also be fine if human beings had sex for reasons other than to conceive children. I wonder, why do you think the infertile and the elderly have sex?

Abortion isn't control of the woman's body anyway. It's control of the baby's body.
Agree, we’re on the same team.

Well damn, PP sure has strayed from that philosophy. Check out these 2016 numbers:
quote:
Of the pregnant women who used Planned Parenthood's services during 2011, 333,964 underwent abortion procedures, compared to 28,674 receiving prenatal care and 2,300 adoption referrals.[18]
That equals out to about 938 abortions per day were performed. That sounds to me that PP is definitely in the abortion business and not so much in the "preventative" business.

A man already had control of his body when he decided to smoke a pack of day. He chose to get cancer. Why should he be allowed to remove it from his body? The above is absurd because cancer cells don’t have personhood. The abortion debate should revolve around personhood. It rarely does, which is why all of you tits keep yelling past one another.
I think you were trying to make a point, I’ll read your post again.

They have reasons, but that's still not the point. Analogy still terrible. Also, those people are impervious to car break ins, so I think you just gave yourself an L.

That was equal parts evasive and nonsensical. Interested in trying again?

Why? Your analogy still stands as terrible?

For reasons you've yet to explain, other than your woefully incorrect implication that the only purpose for having sex is to procreate.
I know this might be a bit alarming to those on this board who are used to the echo chamber, but simply stating that someone's position is wrong isn't actually an argument, no matter how many upvotes your post might get.
