You can’t make it up. Darkest day in our country since 9/11. I fear there are days ahead that will be much darker.

The question is why? How did Trump go from the incredible early military successes of Operation Epic Fury to begging Iran for a deal?

Is it better to plunge a country into chaos or to Venezuela them bitches

Two reasons:

1.) Global Oil Supply chain was toast with the SOH closed

2.) Trump promised no more long term wars in the Middle East.

To alleviate #1 meant supporting a long term war in the Middle East.

Iran was prepared and our military wasn’t. Despite knowing about Irans drone and missile program for years, then watching what Ukraine has been able to do against Russia because of its drone program, we were woefully unprepared to win a war on a modern battlefield.

If thats the reason then I dont even know. 2 destroyers and 2 cruisers going back and forth at all times. Boom straights open. It the entire fricking reason the navy exists is freedom of navigation

Unless this is a plan to drag it on and have lower oil prices until after mid-term this is a total failure. From a free Iran and a new Middle East to giving life to a terrorist regime will become his legacy.

Oh, I don’t know. China’s and Russia’s Middle Eastern ally decisively beat the US in the long term outcomes from this war? Iran now has a permanent presence in the middle east to do whatever they want?

Do people not realize how horrific this is for the future of the world? This is a domino falling that will lead to unfathomable consequences in the future.

Then that's a horrible indictment of the Administration since the closure of the Strait was the #1 risk for any conflict with Iran.

I think it was more about Irans capabilities with drones and missiles. They caused a huge amount of damage around the gulf states including destroying alot of our military bases. The strait was part of that also. Just a huge failure on the part of our military. We spend so much money yet unable to stop $2000 drones reliably.

Destroyed, totally destroyed I tell you. Nobody's ever seen anything like it. They were destroyed so bad that they were completely destroyed.

Just ask general diat150.
