Got it. The very weak “I will pretend that we can’t talk about the MOU because there’s not a deal and the deal will super definitely be better” approach.

Well yeah, those are good things and all, but to his point, I haven't claimed we have accomplished anything yet. My contention is that what they've set out to accomplish is still coming and that this isn't over yet. Even if our bombing campaign IS over.
The fallout from this was our key objective. The dissolution of the Iranian regime entirely.

I agree Iran is making mistake after mistake policy wise. Including the topic of this thread.
I knew we could find common ground.

Tell me, SDVTiger, what does success look like for the end of this war from an American perspective? What are we trying to accomplish here that hasn't already been accomplished PRIOR TO LAUNCHING THE WAR IN FEBRUARY 2026?

Turning Iran from the 16th strongest military in the world into Botswana militarily…… wiping out 40 years of military build up…… Is known as “accomplishing nothing” in indefeat speak.
Irans conventional navy was never a threat to anyone.
No one gives a frick that we were able to neutralize it.

This is your response to “wiping out 40 years of military build up”?
You’re not very good at this are you?
So they were ranked 16th in the world in Feb of 2026 in terms of strongest military based solely on their conventional navy…….
Damn, you’re too dumb to even waste time on

Yes. He is consistently one of the stupidest posters around. His posts are always asinine. On every subject and in every thread.

Did you get this information on rankings from some shitty website? lol
Irans navy was and remains a joke that was never a threat to anything.
But you’re also an alter so your total dumbassery and lack of ability to respond without consulting an ai to give you things like Irans “ranking” entertains me.

This room is a pretty target rich environment for healthy back and forth.
That level of stupidity is really a waste of time in a room like this.
Noted for the future.

Agreed.

We won't know what was really accomplished with this action for probably a few years. Maybe nothing. Maybe lots. We just don't know at this point. That's not how information about these kinds of things filters out into the public. You can believe very little of what is being reported or being said by either side.
Not to mention, there isn't even an agreement yet. So I don't know how anybody could be expected to list what we accomplished when we haven't even finished accomplishing it yet.

So Iran wasn’t ranked as high as 16 in February of 2026…… but they are now a significant threat today after getting 40 years of military build up destroyed. Including a navy. Among other things.
Does your brain hurt a little when you attempt to apply logic like this?

Israel is doing that to themselves.
I think there’s a case to be made for that. I’d listen to it, I probably won’t agree, but I won’t outright dismiss it either. I’m of the mindset that the hezbos need to go and Israel needs to get it done… but this is their fight. Their boots on the ground and their job to cleanup the aftermath. We could help with intel and I wouldn’t bat an eye at it.
I do not understand how their war made it into the MoU unless it was a concession on our side. Which is a really odd thing to have given them considering that it’s another party that we don’t control and believes their entire existence is at stake.

Was it the BCS that ranked them? Who did we appoint to rank nations? I hope it wasn’t the professional sportswriters.

Correct. Some shitty old corvettes being destroyed at their piers is nothing.

I don’t know how I could argue with this logic…….this is some real 4D chess stuff.
Corvettes at the pier…..

Your post that I responded to was literally composed of two separate answers, both plainly AI.

I think it was brilliant. This allowed the US to put Iran into a double bind. Knowing full well that Israel would not stop hitting Hezbollah. I do not think the goal here is to merely defeat them militarily. Hell, that was accomplished in about 30 minutes.
The goal here is to collapse the Iranian regime from within without having to put boots on the ground. This is how you make it happen.

Sorry my AI is still trying to process “corvettes at the pier”. It just keeps coming back with
“Whoever said that is too stupid to bother with”
