Thanks for confirming that you're lying.

Again, I ask, why lie about some shite that has nothing to do with the topic of this thread instead of participate in the discussion?

How is this affecting your daily life?

It's not a lie, I was extrapolating a silly belief you held to current times. It was brought up because you come up with so many mental gymnastics, rationalizations and fantasies that your opinions can only provide amusement.

You contradict yourself. Yes, you did lie.

And I ask for a third time. Why lie about things that have nothing to do with the topic at hand instead of just discussing the topic like a rational adult? Why are you derailing this thread? You have offered nothing of substance, which is typical of you.

I was making a joke that I was still out there waiting for JFKjr. Relax. I have offered background on your beliefs that provides context to some of your posts in this thread about a purposeful grand plan to split the regime. I'll quit "derailing" now.

Iran Gets No Money

I think that remains to be determined.

If you believe the Associated Press, below is the language from article 6 of the MOU.

AP LINK

“6. The United States of America undertakes with regional partners to develop a definitive mutually agreed plan with at least USD 300 billion for the reconstruction and economic development of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The mechanism for the implementation of this plan will be finalized as part of a final deal within 60 days. All required licenses, waivers and permissions needed for the relevant financial transactions will be granted by the United States of America.”

That stated, it’s just an MOU. It’s not a final agreement. Also, given the language above, if Iran does get the money, it’s not clear from where that money will be sourced.

We will find out more over the next couple of months.

It is amazing that no matter what Trump does or says, there will be people like you that will piss and moan that it was some grand catastrophe.

How does anyone take this poster serious with this

You can't

You just have to laugh and enjoy the ride

He spent more time telling you he wasn't going to tell you his thoughts than he could have just telling you his thoughts, mind you.

I think you end up seeing the IRGC fight each other.

I still think you see the IRGC split into two factions (moderate leaning vs zealots).
Moderate leaning (pragmatists) and hardliners historically hold ideological differences within their leadership largely over their own economy and politics (IRGC is like a ‘country within a country). There is no real distinction like this within their fighting forces. The difficulty in eradicating the IRGC in the context of this war is by design. Their units are greatly decentralized and widespread, and commanders are given great autonomy.

Your theory would require several difficult factors. One would be that the aggression of their shared enemy has not united them around their flag and they would actually fight each other. Another would be the logistics of coordinating similar ideologues into a cohesive fighting force. If this were to somehow happen, supply lines and the insane terrain would be a great hurdle. Then, a great number of clerics, parliament members, and other government divisions would have to coordinate support for their ‘team’ without being killed.

These same factors would apply to their supporting forces and reservists. To be noted, clerics are embedded within all their ranks to enforce ideology and strict adherence to command. And one of the greatest hurdles is that by design hardliners hold all the levers of powers within their individual divisions.

If this still were somehow possible, while Hezbollah is viewed as a proxy, IRGC commanders are embedded in their leadership and these are not moderates. They would certainly join in the fray. Rebel factions internally and externally could possibly create more chaos and additional rivals.

If ALL these things fell into place, it would likely not be a ‘couple of month’ resolution, but more likely a protracted civil war lasting years that could spill over into the surrounding Arab nations. The destruction of infrastructure and civilian casualties would be immense and create a humanitarian and migration crisis never before seen. I am only recalling these scenarios from various articles and books I have read over the years.

Personally, I am hoping that you are correct in your scenario and REALLY hoping and praying that I am wrong in mine. (Apologies for the wall of text BTW.)
