I'm against this war, but frick it, it's time to turn the entire country into glass now.

I remember when a goal was to liberate a populace from government tyranny. Now we want to turn that same populace into confetti.

Nah. We’re asking that little center consoles running around with a 50 Cal mounted on the front and a foursome of weird beards threatening world commerce in international waters be treated the same as a Venezuelan fishing boat toting fentanyl

I replied to a comment suggesting turning the entire country to glass.

I’m aware. But “we” don’t want to turn the entire country to glass. One poster, maybe.

I think I read that the Senate declined to pass it? am I right?

Yes - Trump flipped some votes and it was overturned.

quote:

The US Congress has not legally curtailed President Trump's ability to continue military strikes against Iran.

The Senate recently defeated a war powers resolution that sought to block the administration from taking unauthorized military action

The Senate voted 53-47 to defeat a resolution aimed at restricting the President's war-making authority.

This vote allowed the White House to continue directing military operations against Iran without explicit congressional authorization.

The people of Venezuelan supported our actions

We hoped that the Iranians would too

But they didn’t.

Yes, all true I think.

But I like to distill things:
Orange man threatens our grift in Congress, therefore we take him down in any way we can.

Every country that Iran attacks should attack Iran. I don’t see what the holdup is.

Oil prices are plummeting and they don`t like it so they risk to try to keep oil prices up.

Can somebody explain to me why we cannot send in 100,000 drones and pick them off one at a time
