I don't think it's the hub. It's just some small town sheriff who has had enough of the corruption. He takes a look at what is happening in his town. They said that China has infiltrated local politics and the local housing market through fraudulent mortgages. He probably investigated that and it brought him up the ladder.

Yeah. It's like when we have "federal judge rulings" but they are only State level judges.
NGL, I wish I'd payed more attention to this in school to be able to explain it better. Because I honestly don't understand how state level is federal.
