I don't really know how I could be any clearer.

Maybe try reading it again.

I did. You seem to take issue with my opinion that people who dont want kids shouldnt have them.

Underpopulation is bad, but having broken kids is worse.

The charts begin in 1975 and show a 90% marriage rate for women by age 30. That means the youngest women in this graph were born in 1945. Most of their mothers were born with the right to vote. Many of their grandmothers probably got it before they were even voting age.

If you can draw a "correlation" with 1919 from this graph, more power to you. Even the person who posted it isn't making that claim.

Time ... it takes time for things to fully expose themselves for what they are.

1919-1975 ... 55 years of evolution from the time of its passing and being signed into law, in 1920.

1975-2026 ... 51 years to where we are now.

What happened during the course of those first 55 years? ... that led to these past 50?

Mainly, Women's Suffrage was considered First Wave Feminism. It had been going on for decades. Once the 19th was passed it almost immediately morphed into Second Wave Feminism (and the Roaring 20s) which, by the mid-50s (post Rosie the Riveter and female factory production workers in the Northeast and Midwest) had spawned Radical Feminism.
quote:

Radical feminism

Radical feminism is a perspective within feminism that calls for a radical re-ordering of society in which male supremacy is eliminated in all social and economic contexts, while recognizing that women's experiences are also affected by other social divisions such as race, class, and sexual orientation. The ideology and movement emerged in the 1950s but gained full steam in the 60s.[1][2][3]

Radical feminists view society fundamentally as a patriarchy in which men dominate and oppress women. Radical feminists seek to abolish the patriarchy in a struggle to liberate women and girls from an unjust society by challenging existing social norms and institutions. This struggle includes opposing the sexual objectification of women, raising public awareness about such issues as rape and other violence against women, challenging the concept of gender roles, and challenging what radical feminists see as a racialized and gendered capitalism that characterizes the United States, the United Kingdom, and many other countries. According to Shulamith Firestone in The Dialectic of Sex (1970): "[T]he end goal of feminist revolution must be, unlike that of the first feminist movement, not just the elimination of male privilege but of the sex distinction itself: genital differences between human beings would no longer matter culturally."[4] While radical feminists believe that differences in genitalia and secondary sex characteristics should not matter culturally or politically, they also maintain that women's special role in reproduction should be recognized and accommodated without penalty in the workplace, and some have argued compensation should be offered for this socially essential work.[5]

Radical feminists locate the root cause of women's oppression in patriarchal gender relations, as opposed to legal systems (as in liberal feminism) or class conflict (as in Marxist feminism). Early radical feminism, arising within second-wave feminism in the 1960s,[6] typically viewed patriarchy as a "transhistorical phenomenon"[7] prior to or deeper than other sources of oppression, "not only the oldest and most universal form of domination but the primary form" and the model for all others.[8] Later politics derived from radical feminism ranged from cultural feminism to syncretic forms of socialist feminism (such as anarcha-feminism) that place issues of social class, economics, and the like on a par with patriarchy as sources of oppression.[9]

Which led to Third Wave Feminism, since 1975.

Now, some claim Third Wave Feminism was rooted in Anita Hill's testimony against Clarence Thomas ... but Camille Pagula (I'm a big fan and admirer and have read all of her books) who is considered the authority on the various waves of Feminism, says it started in 1975 ... and she's correct in the eyes of those of us who lived it.
quote:

In 1975, a pivotal year in the Feminism movement, women's rights issues centered on economic equality, reproductive rights, and international advocacy marked significantly by the UN’s declaration of 1975 as International Women’s Year.  Major legislative and social milestones included the implementation of the Equal Pay Act outlawing housing and credit discrimination in the US, and the Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion in the US. 1975 also saw full implementation of Title IX Act forbidding discrimination based on sex and offering enhanced protections for female student athletes, coaches, and teachers from sexual harassment and assault.

While Roe v Wade is the biggie ... the Equal Pay Act gave rise to an opening for divorces and an outlet to use a husband's credit to rent and buy homes (for women) after divorces where alimony and child support were to be considered as income. Social Welfare income was also added thus facilitating the easy path to a breakaway from the family unit that Feminist women had long sought.

Camille Pagula says Third Wave Feminism was a total disaster ... and she's right.

Of course all of this led to Fourth Wave Feminism which is a shite show that includes Transgenderism ... but that's too much to get into.

This kind of highlights why the younger generation is always so helpless.

Kids cost a lot of money and require a lot of time and effort. That aint no myth.

women will say money doesn’t matter until she sees other women getting wined and dined and bought expensive gifts on instagram.

It goes beyond that. Many women generally aren’t honest about what attracts them. They'll say money and looks don't matter, kindness,, honesty, sharing feelings etc etc is what’s important. Then they'll date the dirtbag in a Sports car that lies and cheats on them ( and they'll keep going back to them). They feel guilty for admitting “Yes, Im attracted to hotness with money. You have neither of those”.

Cliff notes: women will never date down

Feminism gave women exactly what they wanted. Women became like the masculine men they wanted to couple with. Men don’t want masculine women and women don’t want the feminine men of Western society.

Oh i agree with you.

On the other hand, young people who are capable and competitive (There are plenty, they just dont get enough credit) will have far less competition...in the future.

There are some kickass young folks out there and they will quickly rise to the top. Hopefully a few decide to have children along the way.

Do you think our ancestors who had bigger families and less money complained constantly like our society? LOL, I can’t see my grandparents doing that. They had 6, 7, 8 kids.

Some of you guys know or married some real winners. My wife married me when I had nothing. I was a piss poor student. She stuck it through with me for 27 years and together we built up substantial assets. There are good women out there, but you're not going to find them where some of you guys like to look.

You are missing the point. Is it 30 years ago? No, it is 2026. The percentage of women that would stick with your broke arse today is waaayy lower.

Yup, no doubt things have changed, but my wife hasn't changed and surely she's not the entire population of good women. My daughter just married a fellow who is still in school studying for his mechanical engineering degree. She married him even though he's broke. There are good women out there is all I'm getting at.

Let Mr Mechanical Engineer have a rough few years finding a job. College is about future prospects.

Maybe you're speaking in behalf of your own shallow kids? Just guessing here because your view of humanity is pretty low.

Your daughter didn’t marry a plumber for a reason. That is a fact.
