We all do. So do you. stop playing games. Step out, man up and admit what you are and what you believe.

Over and over and over you have stated choice and used rape and incest as the excuse as if it's the norm.

You simple do not give a crap about the other life involved.

That is the part that pisses me off, there was no matter of factness. And saying that the baby wouldn't really resemble a baby is just false. Hell, my wife delivered still born twins at 22 weeks...an infant monkey would know they were human babies. Every feature they will ever have was present.

The masking over of what will happen to someone asking a direct question resembled a car salesman trying to make a quota.

To be fair, I was trying to describe the attitude or delivery...not accuracy or completeness of the info.

The thing I disagree with about abortion, well, the main thing besides the murder itself (let it lay... it is someone causing a death of someone else, so we'll just call it murder. It's my post.), is that you just don't know what the world is being deprived of.

Case in point; my cousin. We're both up there in years. In high school, she got pregnant. Her parents were military and moved around so we didn't know. At a family reunion five years ago, she told all of us. She came clean. She said her first inclination was to get an abortion, but her parents and her boyfriend talked her out of it. She carried the baby to term and gave him up for adoption.

She went on and went to college. She started a successful accounting firm in the O&G industry. She has a family of her own. Some of you may do business with her firm. She's a multi-millionaire. She told us that her son, the baby she's given away, had reached out to her and that they'd met and been reunited and how wonderful it was. The next year, he and his family came and met all of ours and we all have a new extension of our family to be thankful for.

What does he do? Without revealing too much, he's one of the creative digital cartoonists for Pixar and has been an instrument in bringing enormous entertainment and joy to millions of kids across the world. Would those films have taken place without him? Maybe, but most likely not, knowing what he was responsible for.

So, while I understand the provocative nature that you bring to this board, and the titillation that you derive by always feeling that you must be the protaganist, in matters of general humanity and understanding what a loss this world has seen over that last 45 million or so abortions, let me say that I honestly feel sorry for you that you are so devoid of empathy and sorrow for the loss of artistic expression, architectural wonderment and possible cures for disease that we have allowed our society to willfully deprive ourselves of. I hope that you somewhere find a soul inside you that awakens one day and that you find comfort in being because I can't imagine being so black inside that I would feel the way that you do, today.

A seriously touching story, but like the other ones in this thread.

The point of your story is your cousin...was able to make a choice.

I have long said I don't care if a woman chooses to give birth, put it up for adoption or abort it as long as she has all of those choices.

It is in fact about choice.

The choice to have sex negates the choice to have an abortion.

I always laugh at this.

Should, in your world, there always be consequences for getting laid? How about blow jobs? Handys?

Actually, here in America, it doesn't.

There is nothing that I feel more strongly about than abortion (though that is not my only nor my top priority when voting). But the only way this gets solved is by amendment to the constitution or for science to develop so we that babies can be born completely outside of the womb.

I pray for both.

If you want to be promiscuous, you can, but you don't have to get pregnant.

As far as the left is concerned, anything revolving around sex is OK. Abortion, homosexuality, pedophilia, bestiality, it doesn't matter.

Oh wait...A monogamous sexual relationship between a husband and wife is not OK with these folks. My bad.
