The woke stuff is everywhere. I ask ChatGpt if a new show has woke stuff in it before I watch.
This is one of the strangest phenomenons; companies ruining their own intellectual property with wokeness. The Alien audiobooks decided to add 21st century racial and ethnic strife to a series that already hated corporations. It was too much.

Its the merger of Skydance, Paramount, HBO, Warner, etc.
Its gives them huge content and platforms to broadcast, it also offers huge synergy outside the US vs Netflix.
Second, you dont actually think Netflix thought the obamas would help their programing. I take you back to idiots on here screaming "net neutrality". It allowed Netflix to pay a fraction of the cost to use the internet and forced the carriers to absorb the cost....and pass it on to you. It catapulted their company forward and you paid for it in your phone and cable bill even though you did not use Netflix.
As a reward they gave the obamas the proverbial "book deal" transformed as a "net deal".

They don't get any of my money. They never have. But I've read and watched several accounts of their various shenanigans and I know what they're all about.
