$20 minimum wage working out well for everyone. Never been to In-N-Out. Something worth being upset about if you are a customer?

They aren’t closing stores in CA. Just moving the corporate HQ to Tennessee.

Lynsi Snyder - lone heiress to the franchise her grandparents established - she made the decision to move HQ -

- Christian
- drag racer / NHRA member
- helicopter pilot - she owns a 2017 Bell 412EP
- aerialist & fire eater
- plays in a band called .48 Special

she might acclimate better to Middle Tennessee than most Californians not from Bakersfield -

Never had one but hearing California & burgers immediately brings this to mind.

Why to Tennessee though? Is it trendy for all of these CA companies to move to TN?

There’s a lot of hate but I love them. Hope they build in Louisiana.

Gavin has failed upwards at every step like a typical democrat with a Pelosi connection.

He doesn’t give a shite about California because no matter what happens he’s a democrat darling and a grifter.

Half of the failed train to nowhere funds were funneled to Pelosi’s husband through land acquisitions.

I think once they move HQ you will see many more Cali shutdowns. Its a money drain out there except in certain areas and if you bought your land years and years ago . Rhey can make bigger profits in other states.

An example from Jan 2014:

In-N-Out has never closed a location, until now. It cites crime as the problem

By Jordan Valinsky, CNN

quote:

New York CNN — In-N-Out is permanently closing one of its restaurants for the first time ever, announcing that its Oakland location will soon shutter because of rampant crime in the California city.

The burger chain said in a statement that “despite taking repeated steps to create safer conditions, our customers and associates are regularly victimized by car break-ins, property damage, theft, and armed robberies.”

quote:

In-N-Out said in a statement that while “several” of its locations have relocated in its 75-year history, the Oakland closure is the first restaurant it has closed. “We feel the frequency and severity of the crimes being encountered by our customers and associates leave us no alternative,” said Chief Operating Officer Denny Warnick, in the statement. Notably, Warnick said its Oakland location was “busy and profitable,” but it can’t ask its customers or employees to “visit or work in an unsafe environment.” Affected employees, which amount to about 100, will transfer to a nearby restaurant in San Francisco or receive severance.

quote:

It made national headlines last year when it banned its employees in five states from wearing masks as part of new company guidelines that “emphasize the importance of customer service,” notably showing their smiles. In 2021, its locations in Contra Costa county (also near Oakland) temporarily closed because it didn’t want to verify customers’ vaccination status, which was required during that time for indoor dining.

No state income tax

Low low property taxes & insurance rates. 5-7% sales tax.

Right to work state

4 real seasons (foliage in fall is amazing)

Central SE location with a SW Hub

All that said, Nashville (Davidson Co) has a declining population while the outlying suburbs are exploding.

Want to guess why?

Anyone with reason and sanity will leave California if they can, and I feel bad for Victor Davis Hanson who has to sit in his lifetime home and watch the state rot around him. Wait until NYC elects that commie as mayor, oh boy will that be a shitshow of epic proportions. George Soros must feeling like a real winner.

She’s one of those whack jobs who don’t believe women can have a penis. Probably not a good idea to dine in their establishment
