A man sang about Jesus at church.
You said that isn’t allowed.
That alone is not what I said.

You claimed it wasn’t sincere worship
This is objectively false.

Again, don’t pull a Hank.
After you misquoted me intentionally and then outright lied?

Because I won't lie?
So, according to your prior post, that means that you aren’t a Christian.

And who didn't do that?
The concert that went on illegally.

Well if you're still standing by this argument you can choose stupid or dishonest. I have no preference.

Which there was none.
Now you're arguing with undisputed facts, not even opinions.

It's neither.
But I won't lie and call a concert "worship" in furtherance of an intentional ruse.

I don't think it did. I heard they got a really stern warning.

You lie to yourself daily, bud.

I bet you wouldn't like who grok said this post was from.

I'm starting to develop a preference to call it stupidity.

Alone no, but thanks for admitting that you said it.

You defined sincere worship, and then stated that this doesn’t fit the definition because it was in a city on his tour. Evidently (according to you). he isn’t allowed to worship in city’s on his concert tour.

Exactly

A permit to worship in a church?
quote:
That's clearly not what was going on
If you host an event at a church, you need a permit. You can't spin it as "worship" to break the law.
Help me understand how you came to the insanely stupid notion that a church hosting a Christian singer is anything other than worship.

The entirety of what I said is what matters.

You defined sincere worship
No, the courts did. And has been explained to you, that isn't relevant for discussing SF as his sincerity isn't in question. That's why we're having the current conversation.
This has been explained to you like 5x now.
quote:
and then stated that this doesn’t fit the definition
A lie.

Doubling down on the lie.

When its' a concert being part of a concert tour.

I'll remind you again, in spite of your personal opinion there is legal precedent that in Canada that a service (which includes song and prayer) is different than other public gatherings.
This is Loyola, where the state is not the arbitrator of what "worship" is.
It's obvious you don't like it, but it's been entirely your opinion that you are using. Why is that? Usually you are far more informative, right now you are repeating your opinion about a legal system that you really don't know well.
What makes this one so mentally frustrating that your worldview collapses if indeed religions don't need to follow the laws of other institutions.
In Loyola they sure don't. Great case btw.

Bump

They were told this wouldn't work prior to the event.
So lawless authoritarians going to act like lawless authoritarians?
And you think that proves your point?

This is retarded. Sense can be made of your arguments only if you get to define everything, but that ain't the real world. Even on PT.
