This is the real question.
Taxpayer money should not be spent on ANYTHING that is not directly tied to infrastructure and security of our country. Govt. assistance should be temporary, not a career choice and should be for Americans only, no exceptions. Foreign aid needs a massive overhaul; needs to be completely stopped, audited (real audit) and completely re-structured.

this is tiny compared to military spending fraud
Difference is, military spending is Constitutional.
Paying for people's daycare isn't in Constitution.

because the existing programs that depend on that money - whether your or i agree with it or if it's a good use of money or not - will suddenly be sol and thousands of kids depend on it. as usual, no contingency plan in place. kids will suffer. lots of parents rely on daycare to be able to work, the vast majority who use legit, hardworking daycare services
Then you should be pissed at the people cheating the system and not the people wanting to hold them accountable.

This doesn't make sense if you're open to the idea that it's a shitty program, regardless of intentions.
That's the ugly reality that the Left never wants to confront. Rather, they live in a fantasy world where as long as intentions are kinda sorta good, then the program/spending can't be stopped.

as usual, no contingency plan in place
That's on you/yours.

No they won't. It's not like they're going to be left on the street because the ridiculously fraudulent funding program for daycare was shut down.

If the program is that necessary, maybe the providers, users and indeed gov't overseers stop lying, cheating and stealing. How about that?

Here’s a novel idea, if you can’t afford kids then don’t have any fricking kids
Now you're getting to the real crux of this problem and most of our problems, in general. We are allowing people to be irresponsible and unaccountable. If you don't want to work fine but you're not going to frick your way into a government paycheck. Hunger needs to be part of the equation.

you act like i'm defending any of that because you're emotional
those programs need fixing, no question. regardless, as of today, millions rely on them and just slamming the door on funding is reckless and poorly thought out

I have heard a lot of talk about how many kids are there and how many aren't but my question is why in the hell are they getting funding from taxpayers anyway? There are a lot of daycares in my town and none of them are free. I am sick of funding every fricking thing for everyone.
If youre going to subsidize, do in the way of tax credits for the families that put their kids in daycare. At least the fraud would be more isolated and would stand out more.

Apparently, if broke, unemployed people do not receive subsidized childcare....they would be forced to have their kids with them during the day.

This is a great question.
The government has no business having anything to do with daycare.
The whole idea is retarded.

The original idea was so moms could work and not be on government assistance. Then they got the assistance and still dont work. Women flat out ruin all things they touch. And they are so weak, you lose votes if you tell then no.

Housing, food, transportation, phones, healthcare, utilities, and daycare are all paid for by taxpayer money for these worthless fricks. They contribute absolutely nothing to society. How are all those things a right?
Amen brother! Wife and I paid daycare for our kids for years. Wasn’t any programs for us to get free fricking daycare.

Can you point me to another group that embezzled 9 fricking billion dollars?
