true. take slavery for instance. white people were the last ones to get involved in the slave trade, but are the only ones to ever try and do anything about it.

While it is true than many non whites migrate to the US, it is influenced by what is offered

1. More access to jobs
2. More access to education
3. Freedom from totalitarianism

Other countries simply lack the resources or more often the government stability to provide a better life for its citizens.

We fought an entire Revolution against the Crown to break the shackles of the Old World monarchies.

These are very good reasons. However, none of them change the fact that racial oppression has been used via the government to commit atrocities.

In defense of the US, it was not the first nation to do so and has made many steps in recent decades to alleviate social oppression (Jim Crow, religious persecution, interracial marriage bans)

All countries have a right to their own identity. The US still had me the baggage of the old world , but people have arrived to make it s better place.

There is also a mostly unnoticed racial element to Mexican migration. Look at the people coming into the country illegally. Then look at the leaders of Mexico. Look at the current president of Mexico, and the one before that, and the one before that, and the one before that, and the one before that. They all look mostly Spanish while the illiegals have zero Spanish admixture. Mexico’s leadership knows this.

South America is run by Spaniards, white and of european descent who were born in Latin America. They rule over the mestizos which are your mixed race spainards/natives.

This is also the case in Mexico.

I've said this before, but our immigration problem is really a Mexican government issue our politicians (both sides) want to avoid.

We need to make the Mexican government take care of their own social ills instead of flooding the US with whoever they don't want.
