I bet he worked on his twerking during all that Covid overtime.
ETA: And he doesn't realize that everyone on this board hated his guts during that time.

Actually CNAs do that. Being a NAFO troll I expected you to be a low information individual

I did, and never set foot in the home office (which was a 7 hour drive away).
Current job is a hybrid mix which I actually prefer.
Please don’t conflate private sector jobs with fed government jobs.
You know the difference. You are responsible and expected to create positive results

Charlie Kirk just went through this. I had no idea they only have to physically be there one day per month. They just knock out two days every other month if the start of the month falls during the week.
Idk what agency that is, but it's highly dependent on which one you work for.
I know certain offices have to report to the worksite 2 days a pay period. Supervisors even more than that. Others I know only allow telework on Monday and Friday of each week

Actually CNAs do that.
No wonder hospital costs and medical insurance premiums are so frickin' high. You're part of the problem. Government should make that illegal...

People waste just as much time in the office as they do WFH. They chat with coworkers, fiddle on their cell phones, or space out.
A lot of people have call center jobs where they can’t leave their desk whether they work from home or not.
I have days where I have a full load and other days when I have very little. My manager is very aware of the ebbs and flows of the nature of our work. As long as I get my tasks done and she knows if I need to be away for an extended period of time, she’s fine with it.
I’m salaried, too. Some weeks I work more than 40 hours; other weeks I don’t.
While I do agree that government employees need more oversight since they’re paid by taxpayers, I don’t see an issue with a private company being as vigilant or lax as they want to be.

My job is to manage life saving IV drips and your ventilator keeping you alive amongst other things. You are a NAFO troll, very low information so I didn't expect you to know what a ICU Nurse does

OP is probably one of those "if you're not in the office, you're not working" types.
No. He's one of those people who know 50% or more who spend that much timed away from the office this aren't putting in the time.

If these people are salaried employees your "8 hour shift" is a false narrative. Salaried employees get paid to complete a task, not be doing something for 8 hours a day.
Unfortunately as a federal employee you are both salaried and still have to do something for 8 hours a day

You can't be that dumb to feel that politicians don't need to show up for their role in government.

I agree with you.
Depending on your position in sales or management you can go several days (including myself) without needing to do anything.
Depending how you manage your time.
The difference in fed government jobs is they have way too many people doing nothing.
When your company starts losing money, even your job will be looked at.
The federal government loses zillions of dollars every year, but hires more people and increases its budget

No wonder you spend most of your time at work repeatedly starting threads copying and pasting Eric Daugherty X posts.

Again, low information NAFO troll. I said a Chase banker said the amount of people late on payments is worse than 2008. They are delaying REPOs because of it. You are a typical NAFO troll who can't even read a message

I can't work from home at my job but there are several people in office jobs that do. If you go in and do what you are supposed to and are accessible if needed, then I don't have a problem with it. If you can cut costs and save time. These things can actually be a benefit. A lot of us end up through out an 8-12 hour day spending actually 4-6 working. There is a lot of bs talking, useless meetings and conferences that take up a lot of time that are not needed. I wish I could work remotely and cut a lot of the unnecessary bs out of my work day.

You don't know those are totally different situations. Underwater vehicles aren't scheduled for repo.
